Buggy
Anytime I try to open my camera on my Apple TV, the app crashes. Unable to watch for extended periods on my phone even. Would be nice if this were fixed.
Alarm and app.
Very good alarm and app. Battery and cellular backup in case of power or internet outages. Monitored alarm system. Has worked flawlessly for over 3.5 years. Monitoring company rings immediately if there is an issue. I replace my device/ sensor batteries yearly, and don’t wait for them to run out.
Geofence broken
We've been using this system since it first came out and it's worked well until now. Geofencing has been broken for nearly a month and the only way I got confirmation that it is known is by reading the app reviews. No notice from the company? I would have just manually armed had I known it wasn't working until a fix. They should have updated existing customers.

Sketchy since the start
Thought this would be an upgrade over the generic adt or whatever but it’s more of a hassle and now that geofencing doesn’t work, it’s useless. Spent way too much on the gadgets and subscription for it to be this mid. I would recommend everyone to go elsewhere for a home security system
Flakey service, flakier support
Be careful if you rely on geofencing to auto-arm your system. It’s a known issue that doesn’t work reliably, but Abode hasn’t notified customers and their status page still shows everything as operational. That means people may be leaving home thinking their system armed automatically when it didn’t. Bugs happen, but the lack of communication about a security feature is concerning.
