Worst experience
I have recently visited the Guwahati branch. The quality of the food, service and ambience has gone drastically down. The manager doesn’t seem to care even after complaining that the main course was finished and the refill was not done. Waited for the mutton curry for almost 30 mins. And they didn’t serve me the pasta even after waiting for 1 hour. Please change the staff especially the manager. I regret spending every bit of my money which would have been worth it in some other place

Very Bad Experience at AB MGF Mall
Absolute Barbecue has fallen shockingly low. A very starter starts with a very bad taste — and sadly, that pretty much sums up the entire experience. What used to be a place we genuinely loved has now turned into a textbook example of how consistency dies when customers are taken for granted.
It seems our multiple visits and continuous 5-star ratings have only incentivised them to become complacent. Despite repeated and clear requests, they couldn’t even come close to delivering the original ABs taste that existed barely a year ago. The flavours were dull, marinades lifeless, and the starters felt rushed, reheated, and careless.
This wasn’t just a bad day — it felt like a complete disregard for loyal customers. The quality drop is so steep that it’s almost insulting. When feedback was shared on the spot, the response was casual, indifferent, and utterly unapologetic.
At this point, it’s painfully obvious that Pirates of Grill has no match — not just in taste, but in consistency, respect for customers, and overall dining experience.
ABs was once a benchmark. Today, it’s a cautionary tale of how quickly a brand can destroy its own reputation by assuming customer loyalty is guaranteed. This visit was nothing short of deeply disappointing and frustrating — and sadly, our last.

Worst Vanasthalipuram branch
Team,
I have visited several AB’s outlets across India and have always chosen your restaurant primarily because of the hospitality and service standards. Unfortunately, my recent experience with Vanasthalipuram on 4th Dec dinner was one of the worst and has completely shaken the trust I had in the AB’s brand.
The overall service, staff behaviour, and even the basic hygiene of the bowls and plates were extremely poor. The food counters were not replenished on time, and we had to search for clean plates. Many guests around us were also commenting that because we had opted for a lower-priced menu, the staff appeared unwilling to serve properly.
The behaviour of your staff members was especially disappointing:
Ms. Roja, the waitress, was extremely disrespectful. She threw the food onto the BBQ and walked away as if she was doing us a favour. When we politely pointed out her behaviour, she went to her superior and shockingly referred to me with an abusive word, which I overheard.
The manager was equally unprofessional. He ignored our instructions multiple times. Even when I went to the kitchen and requested him directly to repeat an order, he brushed it aside saying he would come later. Instead, he instructed other staff that the dish “cannot be prepared.”
At the dessert counter, the staff member initially said vanilla ice cream was finished, but when I insisted, she suddenly brought it from the inventory. This made the intentions of the management very unclear.
Overall, I paid ₹8,000, and the experience was absolutely not worth it. This level of disrespect and poor service is unacceptable, especially from a brand known for hospitality.
Since we visited as a family of 10 members and paid a total of ₹8,000, I request you to review this incident and confirm whether a refund or suitable compensation can be provided for the extremely unacceptable experience we faced.

Worst outlet whitefield
I had a very disappointing experience at the Whitefield ABS outlet. I don’t understand why there is such a difference in staff behavior between outlets, especially when prices and menu items are the same.
The staff here were unapproachable and did not engage with customers properly. This is my second visit — I noticed similar behavior during my first visit in 2023 and was hoping things had improved, but unfortunately, nothing has changed.
All customers pay the same price, yet the treatment feels as if they’re serving food for free. The poor attitude of the staff completely spoiled the mood, and trying to compensate later with mocktails doesn’t fix the experience.
Overall, it was the worst experience, and the management really needs to address this issue seriously.

Worst
I rarely write scathing reviews, but Absolute Barbeque earned every bit of this one-star disaster. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were more of a burden than customers. The staff looked completely uninterested in serving, let alone being polite. We were left waiting at our table for ages before anyone bothered to acknowledge us.
Now, the food — if you can even call it that — was hands down some of the worst I’ve ever had at a buffet. The so-called “live grill” was a joke. Half the skewers were either overcooked into charcoal or undercooked to the point of being unsafe. Nothing had flavor — just bland, greasy, lukewarm bites that felt like leftovers from yesterday’s disaster.
The main course section was no better. Sloppy, tasteless curries, soggy breads, and cold rice. Even the desserts were a mess — dry cakes and watery custards that looked like they’d been sitting out for hours. Honestly, the only thing that was “hot” here was my growing frustration.
To top it off, the staff were indifferent when we raised concerns. No apologies, no attempt to make things right. Just blank stares and shrugs. For the price they charge, this kind of service and food quality is unacceptable.
