what if genshin was based?
insanely slept on. the global launch back in feb apparently had instability issues (unreal engine?!)—and reviews never got updated. i’ve played ~8 hrs on an iphone 16 pro with zero issues, even locked at 60 fps etc… i guess it gets hot after 3 hours or so? lol.
this game is such a hidden gem! it reminds me of why i first started loving anime. it’s got so much heart…
the unapologetic fanservice and chuuni aspects, and the humor and overall tone are all just such a breath of fresh air, after the endless sea of samey focus-group-tested meaningless overly-greebled designs and so on that i’m used to from big budget gachas… the designs are cute and punchy and provocative!
and, okay, in genshin terms: imagine if instead of the traveler, characters just talked to You directly through the screen, so you never had to see or hear about any of protagonist-kun’s features… and literally all the playable characters are cute girls!
and there’s no character changing/teleporting/whatever—your entire team is out and doing stuff simultaneously. i don’t even care about my healer constantly dying lately lol—one, kind of my fault, and two, it’s so much less lonely feeling than anything else i’ve tried.
and i feel such affection for the writing and humor and stuff too—the idiosyncratic cute ways characters are dumb, or do awful things, or troll each other… like, ash is so, so dumb, and i love her so much for it, lol…
and yeah, it’s a phone game, but the rates are shockingly generous. i’m definitely not like wanting for faves on my team. like, am i desperate to get ash? well, yes. but idk, all 4 of my current work girlfriends are really cute, so it’s not a big deal.
i feel motivated for once, with one of these, for the first time since around when nikke launched. like, this must be how my ex felt about hsr and genshin and stuff—!!
and i dunno how to emphasize the difference in how dead inside i was feeling trying to get back into zzz, the idea of trying to get into idk nte or endfield etc—which are all perfectly fine, perfectly serviceable gachas, some of the best of the best ofc! they’re very high quality!
but gosh, what a criminally underrated gem abyssdia is. it’s so fun and cute and just… seemingly nobody in the west is talking about it or playing it! and that’s a huge shame.

Actually works now
The optimization has gotten a ton better ever since the full release and is actually playable now so thats good. Otherwise the game is very fun and theres lots to do.

This game definitely stands out from others. Unique play style and gaming experience. I really enjoy it. It kinda gives off the vibe of the heaven bells game but they took it off the App Store I really liked that game tho.

game crashes far too frequently. my in game settings graphics are lowmaxxing, but it's still impossible to level my character without crashing. not even worth the download

Needs fixes for the crashes
It’s a really fun game, the combat feels super satisfying. But the crashing makes it almost unplayable. I’d be switching game menus and it’ll crash. I’ll be switching between gacha banners and it’ll crash. Frustrating, but I have hopes that the developers will work on this.

이관작업의 장기화에 따른 늑장 공지와 더불어서 고액 과금러들도 파밍하기 어려운 ur장비 토벌전(자동소탕모드 편의성 부재를 포함)의 높은 난이도로 인해 많은 유저들이 떠난 것 같음. 개인적으로 맘에 드는 분위기의 게임이었는데 안타까울 따름. 못해도 2~3년은 갈 것 같은 좋은게임이라 기대했는데…

근데 픽뚫에 가챠 확률도 너무 낮고 bm도 너무 심하게 비싸요 그냥 시대에 못 따라가는 예전 구식게임같다고 해야하나 기능도 너무 불친절하고 그냥 심각합니다 결론 이런 서브컬쳐게임은 그냥 대작게임 위주로 하는게 나은듯

The game is fun overall but I find the semi consistent crashing and inability to return to the game if your screen locks annoying. It takes forever to load into the game. However, the game is fun and really enjoyable. Just needs work on the server side I guess

Love the game, have been enjoying it but the game keeps crashing which makes the experience a bit of a downer. It’s a great game but lacks the stability to keep it from crashing. Please fix this issue, other than that I really enjoy this game and the characters!

It crashes a lot!😔
It’s such a good game with such good quality and a nice story but… the only downside I see here is how many times the game crashes and takes me out of the game. It really ruins my mood to keep playing the game due to the crashing. I hope it gets fixed since I’ve just started playing it today and it’s crashed 5 times already and ruins my love for the game since it’s really exciting and fun to play.

this game is really good but, making armor hard to upgrade it’s not cool I love how you can go from the character to character easily the fights are awesome and the rewards are awesome but it needs work with armor and it needs work with events because I don’t like fighting for a character and they’re not getting them but five out of4 out of five actually in this. 😎🌸⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
