New = Occasional Bugs
I found this game from PAX East 2025 and downloaded it quickly and played a bunch of it there while waiting in lines etc. It’s super cute with a cute storyline/premise. I love being able to have the several options for the cats and dogs (though I hope there are more options for pets, cosmetics, and breeds/patterns, and super powers in the future) Though of course since it is a new game, it is bound to have some bugs of course, but the devs were really quick to patch the most recent one that I had discovered when binge playing at PAX. The UI is pretty user friendly and the game is quick to learn making it suitable for pet lovers young and old. I can’t wait to see what they do in the future. Four stars for now but if they keep it up the good work I wouldn’t mind adding the fifth soon!

Code redeem
How do I redeem codes I got from pax?
Not quite ready
I saw this game at PAX East and they had an amazing booth setup. I downloaded it the next day and put in around an hour and a half of playtime.
There’s a lot of potential here, but it doesn’t feel ready yet. Some constructive criticisms:
1. Not having pet sounds during the stages (barks, meows, etc.) feels bizarre. The background sound seems to just loop and audibly it is quite boring.
2. Combat is not intuitive regarding whether attacks are hitting or missing. Despite special attacks having a default visual range they don’t seem to do damage unless the enemy is right next to them. I assumed upgrading attack range would make the specials go further but perhaps it makes them hit deeper into their animation.
3. Combat is quite honestly boring. It takes too long to span the entire level and then the ebb and flow of the game just feels off. I never lost a stage but just wanted them to end much faster. A few ideas are to shorten the width (so time from spawn to attack is faster in both directions) and/or give a game speed increase option.
4. The UI is very unpolished and inconsistent. There are times where arrows are used to point things out and others where they glow or pulse, and some where it is t clear wheee to click next.
5. The pet art itself is adorable and I love it. The equipment as dress up accessories is brilliant and love seeing the items on the pets.
6. Mission structure is boring and too “same”. Consider adding other mission types, gameplay modifiers, and mixing things up to keep it interesting.
7. The upgrade system feels really underwhelming and lacks depth, while also being too restrictive in stopping more than a single level of upgrades every X missions. I get why that makes balancing easier, but it also essentially takes away choice as it is easy to have enough gems to upgrade everything in the first two hours as you wait for the next tier to unlock. The fact that it’s all just another set of #s takes away excitement.
8. The ability to change powers around is nice but there’s no information I could find on what powers might be better for what situation. Could be user error but would be great if there was more of an advantage/weakness view into this by enemy, stage, or comparable.
I hope this feedback helps and best of luck in enriching the game!

Super cute!
Dev team has a lot of passion for the game, and really want it to succeed. Has a nice sense of humor, and really fun art direction and style! Fun and nostalgic gameplay too!
