What's New in Accessibility Checker

8.0.1

July 14, 2026

A brand-new welcome: the redesigned onboarding tour previews every tool with native mockups, offers an optional Sign in with Apple right from the first screen, and asks what brings you here so the app fits your work. Replay it anytime from Settings. Audits: upgraded to axe-core 4.12.1, the newest ruleset. Results: a new share menu — text summary, all findings, CSV, or the automated report PDF — and report PDFs now use a high-contrast palette that passes the same checks we hold your pages to, in light and dark mode. Focus Order: switching back to the tab re-shows your map instantly, with polish and fixes throughout. Plus accessibility improvements everywhere — clearer VoiceOver labels, higher-contrast links and buttons — and full localization of everything new.

User reviews

Free up and does the job quite well?

Did a few scans and it gives me a lot of false alarms, otherwise it’s pretty awesome and pretty accessible with the voice over screen reader.

Important details not well thought

When I load an app screenshot, the lower portion of the screenshot is blocked by the app’s bottom toolbar. This blocks from measuring all my screenshot’s accessibility.

Also, the feedback email is broken, which doesn’t reflect an app that’s being paid attention and curated enough to request monthly payments for what could be simply bought once.

Pity because otherwise seems like a clever and simple app.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, we will address this feedback in an upcoming update.

Missing non-text contrast checker

Does not check for non-text color contrast issues

Scam you into paying monthly fee

No idea I had to pay monthly and I’ve requested multiple times to cancel but nobody cancels or responds to my feedback.

Response from developer

Hello, subscriptions can be managed via Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions.

Scam, the product is unusable without opting into a paid subscription

Just make it a paid app, your free tier is useless.
