I have never felt more uncomfortable than I did tonight with one of your drivers.
Tonight my identity as an American. I was repeatedly asked whether I believe being from America is superior to being from the UK, as we spoke about him being harrassed as not being from the Uk, and I spoke up being honest I too have had issues not being from the uk.
and I found myself unable to formulate a satisfactory answer.As he repeatedly asked me do I feel America was better then the UK. How do you answer that?. I felt I gave the accurate answer, however he was not having it.
When we finally arrived at our destination, my partner told me to get out of the vehicle do not speak as he said and being British so wow, you have had grief but that was scary.
What had been an enjoyable evening for my birthday made us both feeling confusing and disheartening.
Until now, I have always had positive conversations, but tonight's experience was unsettling and even frightening.

How?
The code to confirm my number took 40 minutes to arrive and when I opened the app to finally put in the code it had reset and wanted to send me another one, so I left my phone unlocked with the app open for an hour (on charge) so it didn't reset but now I am not receiving the message, clicked ‘resend code’ multiple times and got nothing back at all. The app needs a bit of work to say the least…

Worst app ever. Completely useless. Awful taxi firm
Awful service. Booked what I thought would be a reliable taxi on the app the day before. My booking was confirmed and the price was estimated at £3.50 for my 5 min journey. Phoned on the morning for peace of mind, so glad I did. I was told that every booking on the app gets confirmed but it’s apparently controlled by London and not operated by Wakefield. I was told I was unlikely to get a car at first and then was told I could get the taxi that I had ordered. My train then got cancelled so I rang back to tell them I would be 15 mins late- greeted by questioning and rudeness- and told they would only come out if I was defintley going to be there- comforting for someone not familiar with the area. I was then told the £3.50 cost quoted was inaccurate and it was more £13 for my journey. - this is what I was charged- no meter in the taxi to monitor the cost so was easy for them to overcharge me. I had to get the bus back back as I could no longer afford another taxi and didn’t fancy a return journey with this rude, unreliable extortionate service.

Would be an good app to have if you could get past the registration section as soon as you put in your details the app says it is texting you an activation code which never arrives. Pretty pointless I think I just stick to calling for a cab.
