Great Functionality Bad Price

The functionality is great but the price keeps creeping up subtly as Adobe rearranges functionality. Keep losing what I need in the middle of my subscription: combining files. Had enough, deleting and using some other program. Thanks for supporting small business Adobe - not. Even tried free trial of premium to use and wouldn’t work. Had this for years; very disappointed.

Confusing

Difficult to move around within the app confusing on where everything is

Unusable in Current State

I have been using Acrobat Reader for years, possibly decades. It has usually been a better-than-average app.

The last few versions, though, have been terrible. Previous versions have been slow to open, but the latest version is interminably slow.

I keep all my documents on my iPad. I have many files, of various sizes, from kbs, to numerous MBs.

My iPad is a 9th generation, running the current version of OS, and the most recent version of the app.

Doing anything causes the app to be inoperative for several, and often many, seconds, before it responds, to the point where even something as simple as renaming a document can take up to two minutes to complete.

I cannot delete and reinstall the app, in what I suspect would be a futile attempt to improve
performance as, as previously stated, all my documents are on my iPad, and will be deleted with the app.

Also, I cannot move my documents to the cloud, so they will survive deleting the app, as app responsiveness is that slow, that transferring each file, individually, will drive me insane. I tried to transfer five files to the cloud this evening, four small, and one around 10MB (not that big). It took 45 minutes just to transfer these five files, which, quite frankly, is ludicrous.

Perhaps you need to concentrate on making the performance of the app acceptable, rather than front loading it with all this AI, which many users neither need, nor want, especially if it continues to affect performance so badly. I believe the AI tools are part of the issue, as the performance issues seem to start cropping up, around the time AI was introduced.

Or, perhaps, release an app without the AI components, if these are what are causing the issue?

Regardless the performance of the app, in its present state, is not acceptable. I am seriously considering looking at an alternative to use in the future.

Directions?

I cannot figure out how to fill. I cannot find where to go for instructions. The old program was easier. Stop changing things.

Keeps making me look good!

Like so many, I’ve been using Adobe Acrobat for more years than I can recall. If you need access to a PDF document, it’s obviously the #1 choice.

They had an incredible offer a few years where you can have use of almost the majority of their apps for an incredible price. Well worth it.

But what keeps impressing me is their updates. You keep getting new features that are actually useful in making whatever you’re working on easier with such professional results that make you look good.

Keep it up Adobe, keep making me look good.

Terrible app

It’s so laggy and the text is really delayed. Half the time it doesn’t work I can’t believe how bad this app is!

scam

total scam, wont do anything without giving them money and they hold any files for ransom

Paywalled

As per all other greedy pigs, they’ve now paywalled converting to .pdf function.

Bye bye app!

Variable service.

I have 3 computer and a cell phone one always has to drop out and it takes over all documents then can read them. Now my cell phone has dropped out of the loop

Good App

Big App perfect

Pay wall

Just needed to sign a simple document and this is making me pay so much money to do one thing. Adobe fill and sign used to be my go to use whenever I needed it not it’s been ruined. Apple preview is much better this is for people who have money which right now I definitely do not!

Abusiva

It is annoying how paid extra features are pushed into the user, even when these were previously rejected. Can not enjoy basic use, it is a minefield of pay-extra features buttons waiting for a distraction

Handy program

Definitely helpful through all the trials and tribulations of life. I like that things can be downloaded and kept offline in the event you are somewhere with no signal or WiFi. Been my go to program for pdf files

ممتاز

إمكانيات جيدة وقراءة مريحة

Great PDF editor

I am pleased with this app. Particularly where you can go into the document add or delete text.
