No free trial?

I found this app on Google, and the website said I’d be able to “try for free”. Promising, since the app has less than 2 stars on the App Store. But once I downloaded the app, there was no free trial option. I really want to try this app, but I just can’t pay for an app that might not even work!! Help?

App works badly, and zero technical support

The app sometimes works, but only sometimes. It doesn’t have enough options to change text size etc, and the text size in both modes is way too small. I asked a simple question to their support weeks ago and have gotten no reply. Avoid this app, there are better.

Hi — thanks for taking the time to share this. We checked our Support inbox and couldn’t find a message about text size — App Store names don’t link to our system, so it may not have reached us. If you contact us via Voice Hub → Support or email info@actingpal.com , I’ll personally reply within 24 hours. We’ve also shipped several recent fixes across playback, the audio editor, onboarding, and the teleprompter. If you can share your device model and what you were doing when it “only sometimes works,” we can pinpoint the issue quickly. On text size: the teleprompter already supports Small / Medium / Large, and a larger Prompter View is coming in the next release. If you meant the Practice/Cue screen, that’s noted. Updated Review app is worthless unless you pay

Just as my title suggests this app is not usable at all unless you pay money for it. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Self Taping Doesn’t work

So I got the pro version for three days and I really need to use this app because I think it could be useful. I like the AI voices that they have and they’re simple to use. But for some reason, self tapping isn’t working because the app is saying it’s not stable enough to operate it. I’m not sure how long this has been like this but it’s December 2025 right now and I would love for the developers to reactivate this feature so I can do self tape or I’m going to a different app instantly. Thanks for your time, I think this app could be great if it just worked out that one part.

Absolute Mess!

This is an absolute mess of an app. It wasn’t even worth testing because the “sample script” doesn’t even work. The lines just kept saying “failed to load” and when you edit the words, it just played what was written down originally in the app. Even though this app looks nicer, it clearly is not consumer ready. Nobody should be spending money on this scam! More people taking advantage of actors, what else is new.

Nice free app but some features don’t work

So far this app has been very handy but when I try to use cue mode it is constantly saying that it doesn’t work so I am not able to use it also a tutorial for how you witch speakers or characters would help this has all been trial and error and when I try changing my character it just mutes everyone instead of just my character
