3 Years No App Update
I’ve never had an issue with the scales, measuring and syncing to my iPhone or wife’s. My issue is that with this type of kit, the app should updated to ensure measurements are accurate.
I’ve recently had a private appointment which shows these scales measurements are significantly out. What’s the point?

Got problems
Up until 2 days ago would rate 5 * but like many others now not syncing, inputting manually. No response from company yet. Did everything suggested still 'disconnected'

Connection issues which render the scale useless
Please look into this so as to create a stable connection between scale and phone on every use , perhaps update the hardware or software but please solve
Not visible for bluetooth pairing
I downloaded this app to connect but the active era scale is not readable, it is not visible on my phones blue tooth no matter what I do.

No longer works
The app no longer works. Can’t login. Can’t reset account. Can’t create new account.

Most rubbish app
This stupid app , doesn’t even allow you to enter password doesn’t let you log in as it gets stuck & doesn’t allow you to even get to the password part , when it does which can take hours it works well .. not recommended buy a alternative , well doesn’t work with iPhone correctly thx
Sign in with Apple ID is broken
Today I’m logged out when I open the app.
I’ve tried logging in with Apple ID and get the spinning progress animation and then nothing happens. It doesn’t log me in. Tried creating account with Apple ID, same result. Please fix.

All data lost
I had to reset my iPhone much the same as getting a new phone and recover all apps presently used, every app I had been using worked brilliantly as before except this one, it remembered the names of people using this app but no data recovered and help said they had no recollection of this app to my phone or email address that was connected prior to me resetting my phone. I only have this one issue with the app as it did what it said it would do. I’m stating this to be a major problem with the application and hopefully the programmers will be able to deal with this matter. Edit again locked out this time due to poor reception of internet, says wrong password!!!!!!!

App is not working
App is able to connect to the scale via “Test” but I am not able to register or create an account from the app. It doesn’t allow to log into an account that was created on the website either.
Keeps logging out won’t reset password
Been logged out every update not being able to log in or reset password, won’t send reset email can’t keep resetting or making new email

There’s no point having an all singing all dancing scales if the app cannot accurately sync and record measurements. Judging by the number of detailed bad reviews, and the fact that Active Era haven’t even bothered to reply much less address the issues, demonstrates the lack of customer service. They just don’t appear to care. I too have had issues connecting, syncing and recording accurate measurements. I’ve tried my iPhone, my iPad and even an old phone. It worked on one occasion on my iPad, after I opened the app, logged in with password and ticked privacy, then switched the scales off and on again. I thought I’d cracked it, but unable to replicate this. Plus I don’t want to have to do this every time I weigh. My daughter bought Liorque smart scales which worked instantly and only cost £10.

Scales fail to connect.
We bought the smart scales hoping my wife and I could both use them but the app kept getting confused. So we bought a pair each. Worked great first day. Since then we both struggle daily trying to get the Bluetooth to connect to our iPhones. We try everything the help pages say and lose around 30 minutes having multiple try’s & getting very stressed. The customer service support was useless too.
A shame because readings wise they are good. It’s just the connection problems that let them down. Surely it would be better to have the scales linked to your broadband like Fitbit do.

Have to login each time
Good little app but it bugs me every time I use it, I have to login again
Overall weight loss
Can only assume the results are accurate but I do get a different reading if I don’t put the scales out in exactly the same place. Not bad app I suppose as seeing the results do encourage me to do better the next day. Would be better if it showed overall weight loss but it doesn’t.
How to get it to sync
I found it really annoying that it wouldn’t sync at first however playing around with the app all u need to do is change the units ur weighed in from kg to stone and then stand on the scales let them take a reading the scales will sync to your phone! Then after change the units back will work fine from then on 👌🏻

Obese?
I m in athletic shape and work out 4-5 times a week. The app gives me 34% body fat. It is actually 14. Awful
Not connecting
Cannot get these scales to connect. I have to add my weight manually. Tried troubleshooting but still will not connect. Very boring, can’t really chuck the scales for this reason but at 6am in the morning this is not the way to start the day !
Useless
I’ve tried everything to get the app to connect with the scales and it just won’t. Not really worth having if you can’t log data. I wish I could give it no stars.
Decent app but please improve data visualisation
It’s a good app, but the data visualisation is very poor. I have absolutely no idea why, when you look at trend graphs, the ticks on the x axis are so dispersed. You can adjust the range of the y axis but bafflingly not the x, why is this? It means you cannot look at long range daily data, and instead are forced to look at the weekly/monthly mean. This makes absolutely no sense as a data presentation decision and is extremely frustrating.
Please please please change this.
