Does not function
The app will not connect to whatever “server” Janome uses, so it won’t show any designs (prebuilt in or not). I can’t find any tech solutions or information for it online to fix the issue. I have reached out to different dealers of Janome and no one can help.
Great once but constantly crashing
I got this with my Janome MC15000 and initially it was great. It hasn’t been updated for a few years, you cannot delete the inbuilt designs, they offer for purchase, which take up a lot of space, isn’t updated for all of the machines and is now constantly crashing. Please sort this out Janome app developers.

This app does not have any documentation to help you use the app. The Janome designs are not at all creative or useful and you can not get rid of them. Save your money.

No longer connects to Dropbox for exporting
This app no longer connects to Dropbox or any other export app. It will not export my embroidery files.
HELP! NO way to contact for help
App all of sudden keeps crashing when trying to export - doesn’t matter what design or how I export it just crashes I need this working asap

With the amount of money you have to pay for this app and the amount it costs to purchase the machine you would think they would at least supply a decent app. No, its not decent it constantly crashes because it cannot cope with the new software update launched by apple. Come on Janome sort this out! It needs an boost of regular updates and fast! I noticed they can update the shop in it tho with regular new designs to purchase but don’t invest any money in this app. I’m fed up with constant crashes and i cannot use this app to the best of its ability. It keeps crashing when trying to transfer the Jef file to AcuEdit. It crashes when loading on the Home Screen often. It also crashes when trying to edit or even clean up stitches! Not acceptable from a big brand company!
It used to be a great app, and even then it had crash issues but at least it was useable, now I cant use it as it just doesn’t work as it should especially for the main reasons the app is good for.

Paid $50.00 to be frustrated
I have been watching YouTube videos to figure out how to use this app. When the ladies are telling you how wonderful the help tag is, I do just as they show and the app locks up. So now where does one go for help?
I have spent more then $10,000.00 on Janome machines in the last month. I think the least Janome could do is update the app.

Awful Avoid

Not linking to iCloud
This app is useful but will not link to iCloud and would like to see it updated so the lightening storage can be added. For this price I expect more. Dropbox seems to be the only storage showing without putting some effort into setting up other storage which also involves a great deal research. Why do we have this in iPad only app yet the only storage is Dropbox and not iCloud?

Not user friendly at all
Stay away from it . Purchased it for my mom, I am technician myself: to send the image via email ? Forget it , and please be prepare to send it through DropBox , you get lucky if you can send it the first time. My mom said she would not use it at all since it was difficult for me , it would be worse for her.

Lettering module
I bought this using my old iPad and discovered i can’t transfer it on to my new iPad I would have thought that any purchases would be transferable. I would be interested if anyone else has this problem.
Cannot upload any design
I purchased by mistake so I tried to use it but I cannot upload anything, not what I expected. Definitely not worth the price. I tried to get a refund but haven’t heard anything back.

This app is outdated, slow, and not worth the $50. It could potentially be amazing, but mine crashes constantly!!! Please do something about this Janome. You’d think as amazing as my skyline is and as high as this app is, the app would be maintained.
Importing designs?
Was working, new update on ipad, now can not import designs in AcuDesign from Dropbox. Always sent from Dropbox to AcuDesign but thats not working now.

I used to use this app frequently to move my designs between computer and machine using Dropbox. Now the app is no longer compatible with Dropbox?? Please fix soon. This app had such potential, but little is done to update it or provide training.
Needs update urgently
I love this app, I store my designs in folders, send to my machine, has worked brilliantly until now. The last software update 13.1.2 has totally ruined AcuDesign. Not only lost all the designs I had stored in AcuDesign, the downloading of designs does not recognise AcuDesign at all. I am sure I am not the only one with this problem. Please fix ASAP, hopefully my designs will miraculously appear as quick as they disappeared

This is a wonderful program if it wouldn’t lock up every time you try to use it! Love the fact that you can put your files in and use a Rolodex to see them. Please update and fix it! I would TOTALLY love to use this program!
Love this App
I love this app. Use it every single time I do embroidery on my 15000. Easiest way to import designs and then transfer them to my machine. Only thing I wish was included is a way to combine multiple designs in one hooping. - Keep the updates and new designs coming!
