This acts just like the old physical 10-key machines. There was a slight learning curve because I haven’t used a 10-key for 20 years or more. But the app works really well. It’s certainly worth the price.
OK with a couple of annoyances.
In fixed+ mode, the total only shows digits after the decimal that aren't zero. Also, on iphone the method to clear the tape is ridiculous.

Adding Machine not a calculator
The tape feature makes it easy to check and retain your work. Second, it is an adding machine. Enter the number then the operation much easier if you think that way

It does not subtract
I can add perfectly…BUT THIS DOES NOT SUBTRACT !!! It only adds when I tried to subtract!!

Good app but some keys appear not to function
First of all this is a great app for adding big columns of figures. The ability to edit the tape and email the tape is perfect. There is a % key on top right of keypad but it does not appear to do anything and nothing in the guide to say what it does. Likewise the +/- key seems to be inoperative. I searched the info and find a button at the bottom marked “see index”, that doesn’t do anything either. Perhaps they all work and I am not using it correctly, in which case it needs more complete instruction.

Thank you for the positive feedback. To clarify this App, it is an accurate 10 Key Adding Machine like a Casio, Sharp or Canon found in a stationary store. Percents in a 10 Key Adding Machine are performed like this example which adds 6% of 30000 to 30000: <30000 X 6 % +>: The result will be 31800. I'm so used to using a calculator with a tape I was pleasantly surprised when I found this. I love the fact that I can go back & review what I entered and check for mistakes (and I make them all the time.) It's really a great app. Thanks

Bought this instead of replacing my old “adding machine”. Perfect replacement as I just use it to pay bills/ balance checking account. I don’t do any fancy functions with it
