Poor booking confirmation and notifications
I tried to book a cab but the app crashed, and I received no confirmation of booking, so I assumed the booking didn’t go through. However, the driver turned up the next day, cranky and rude, basically implying I was lying about the booking.
I checked - there were NO email, text or even app notifications. The booking was actually listed in the app (but with no in-app indication on the home page).
Booking online/via apps are always accompanied at least by a confirmation email or text. I received nothing until a phone call from the driver when he was on my doorstep, so this is also about the booking system.
I’d recommend booking via an ‘old-fashioned’ phone call until this app booking system is updated and improved.

Useless app
Why both allowing to book via an app if the driver isn’t going to bother to check who they’re picking up. Watched them pick someone else up in front of me and just drive off.
No notifications
Use to get a notification when a driver accepted a job and then we where he is as he approaches your property - now you get phone calls to say driver is waiting at same time app says he is approaching. Pre Covid the app worked - since last update its no better than ringing and booking - Uber is looking good…

Useless app
There is no way to set your destination in the app and it takes a very long time to get any information once the taxi is booked. Using Uber or Ola is much easier, cheaper and provides gps info.
Horrible app and service
Booked a taxi to the airport. No taxi showed up. Had to call and ended up dealing with a rude operator.
Doesn’t work
My booking, Taxi never turned up. I thought I’d delete the app and reinstall it. Now I can’t log in and use it. Useless.

I have used AI Taxis app a lot in the past year..
Problems I can see-
A lot of places I frequent have the address listed as “Cardigan St“ rather than “55 Cardigan St - McQueens Tavern“, so the driver picks up the fare but never arrives to pick me up!
No way to add ‘remarks‘..
If I set “Favourites“, there is no way to add remarks, i.e. ‘at the Sports Bar of McQueens, please ask for ME‘..
Currently, I’m back to calling operator!

Needs to improve ability to edit location
Not a bad app, but if the app thinks you are on an adjacent street, it’s difficult to totally edit that location. You get a mash of streets on the pickup address, which doesn’t help the poor driver. I’ve actually missed a ride because of this.
Other than that, the app is fine and easy to use. It’s evolved well.

I wish it included train stations!! I have to ring now as the app doesn’t ‘locate’ stations!

Confidently move around on holidays
Loved using this app during my week-long stay in Adelaide. It was perfect as I knew exactly where my taxi was and when it would arrive. As someone who doesn’t regularly use taxis, this app allowed me to confidently move around the city.
Biggest taxi network in Adelaide but can't seem to nail its app
I started using Uber recently. The only reason was I couldn't get the AI app to work.
Current things to iron out:
1. GPS not accurate enough. If I book in my kitchen, the app thinks I'm over the back fence on a different street. If I go on the front porch the app thinks I'm at my opposite neighbour's house. All other apps seem to allow the user to correct the address info on the fly or set a default home address. I couldn't find it on here.
2. Today I was told by my driver that I should always book by phone because drivers don't accept jobs if they don't know the destination. There is no ability to set the destination on the app.
There is now a fairly standard set of tried and tested interfaces for Uber and all the national / east coast apps. AI should just mimic those instead of trying to reinvent the wheel.
I want to use AI because it has the biggest network but seem to often hit some hurdle and give up. Can't stand Ingogo because they slug additional fees (11% for Amex) but at least their app works.

A good app ruined!
This was once an app that was easy to use and worked well. Now you can't even login. Sorry I don't have time to figure out how to login or sign up I'll just call another taxi company.
Taxi says on way but.....
Have had success in past. However, it is stressful when app says taxi on way 10 mins prior to pick up but 10 mins after it has not arrived..... Ringing office results in a yes they are on their way... When?!
Worst app
I've never used a more inaccurate app. It says there are multiple taxis all within 2 minutes of you, yet when you book, it sends one from at least 15 minutes away. Then the drivers never know where they're going and either take a circuitous route or need directions. This app is completely useless.
Worked a treat
I don't usually catch taxis that often so I came to download an app as the call centre wait time was long. The app is very easy to use once I book a taxi I was able to see it when it was accepted and where the driver was when he got 1 km from my location I received a text message notifying me to step outside. Then at about 360 m got another text as well as an email to let me know to make sure I was outside as the driver would be here momentarily the only issue I had with the app was it did not show me as being picked up therefore shows as a non-picked up there in my history I'm not sure how that will affect me booking a taxi in the future I guess I'll have to wait and find out

Brilliant SA App
Great app and great service from the taxi drivers. Did not have to wait long at all and love the tracking to see where your driver is. got taxi from Gawler to Hillbank and return with out any hassles. great work!!!

What can I say I get nervous about these sorta apps if they work but when I tried I could see when I booked and when it was accepted even got a email when taxi was close... Would use again..
