Großartige Idee – in der Praxis für mich respektlos und belastend
Ich habe Splitti wegen der Baumstruktur gewählt. Dieses Feature ist visuell klar und konzeptionell stark; genau so etwas kann bei ADHS helfen. Auch der Grundgedanke – große Aufgaben KI-gestützt strukturieren, in Schritte zerlegen und erinnern – klingt sinnvoll.
Warum ich die App dennoch löschen musste:
• Nutzerautonomie wird missachtet. Eigene Aufgaben werden nicht zuverlässig übernommen, stattdessen fügt die KI Punkte hinzu (teils längst erledigt, teils nie autorisiert).
• Falsche Erfolgsanzeige. Löscht man solche KI-Punkte, werden sie als „erledigt“ gewertet – die Fortschrittsbilanz wird verfälscht.
• Endlosschleifen statt Hilfe. Trotz klarer Rückmeldung („funktioniert nicht“) wiederholt die KI dieselbe Aufforderung, nur mit variierter Einleitung.
• Aufgeblähte Kommunikation. Viele Pseudo-Empathie- und Motivationsfloskeln statt knapper, umsetzbarer Hinweise.
• Ausdrückliche Wünsche werden ignoriert. Selbst die Bitte, Floskeln zu unterlassen, ändert das Verhalten nicht – das wirkt bevormundend und respektlos.
• Kontextverlust. Chat und Aufgabenliste sind nicht verknüpft; beim Wechsel ist der Verlauf weg, man fängt immer wieder von vorne an.
Übertriebene Schrittzerlegung. Aufgaben werden in Mini-Schritte zerlegt, die so banal sind, dass man sich bevormundet fühlt („Setz dich an den Rechner und öffne den Browser“). Das ist keine echte Unterstützung, sondern vermittelt eher das Gefühl, verschaukelt zu werden.
• Fehladressierte Unterteilung. Die KI zerlegt Aufgaben in Kleinstschritte, die nicht zu meinen Zielen passen (oder längst erledigt sind).
• Mühsame Bedienung. Unerwünschte KI-Punkte zu entfernen kostet unverhältnismäßig viel Zeit.
• Support unpraktisch und reaktionsarm. Kontakt nur per E-Mail; als ADS-Nutzer habe ich am Handy bewusst keine Mail-App – faktisch keine Hilfe. Rückmeldungen blieben aus.
• Fragwürdiges Upselling. In-App-Käufe für eine „intelligentere KI“, obwohl Grundfunktionen bereits scheitern, schaffen kein Vertrauen.
Fazit: Starke Idee und eine sehr gute Baumstruktur – aber die Umsetzung untergräbt Autonomie, verfälscht Fortschritt und ignoriert klare Nutzerwünsche.
Bedienung und Interaktion der K.I. ist hochgradig ineffizient. Für mich als ADS-Person war das dauerhaft frustrierend, deshalb habe ich die App gelöscht.

Wish I had found it sooner
I honestly wish I had found this sooner. Tasks don’t seem so daunting anymore, especially when you break them done. It honestly could be as simple as cleaning the front room, it breaks it down to manageable tasks rather then “clean the front room” there’s literally an option to break down tasks to mini tasks. Sehr zufrieden
Habe ADHS und andere Erkrankungen, die mir Planen und Strukturieren sehr schwer machen. Splitti ist die erste App, die mir hilft.
Einziger Minuspunkt: Aufgaben aus Projekten werden mir nur als große ganze Aufgabe in den Tagesplan gelegt. Ich kann nicht markieren, wenn ich es in der Zeit nicht geschafft habe, alles zu erledigen. Die Aufgabe wird abgehakt und ist in Wirklichkeitsform gar nicht fertig

Makes complex task easy
So, I told this app all about my chaotic, creative self and, lo and behold, it gets me! Decomposer hasn't cured my urge to chase squirrels, but it does reel me back in with personalized nudges. But, let's be real, I still find ways to procrastinate :)
Too many Assumptions
When I setup a goal, even when I add a deadline, the system picks its own timeline and does not let me modify the dates. With this tool I would never meet a deadline!

Did a test run and I absolutely love this app!
My only suggestion is if this could somehow be integrated with a Calendar so we can always ensure we don’t overbook ourselves when trying to find time for our focus blocks. Other than that , this is absolutely amazing!

Life coach meets Project Manager
I have owned a phone for 20 years and this is going to be the first time I ever leave a review. I feel compelled to leave this review because I think that this app is a godsend for people like me who have a combination of decision, paralysis, ADHD and generally completely overwhelmed with life and everything that is being thrown at them. I used to be a very productive powerhouse back in the day before a child and all of the daily urgent responsibilities that have now inundated my life. I am barely able to keep up now and the last two years have been very miserable for me. I looked into getting a life coach to help me feel motivated and tap into my passion but also to help me stay organized and on track however after being quoted between 6000 and $7000 I realize that that was not a path that I could pursue. I know that I really need personalized help somebody to be interested and ask me what’s going on and ask follow-up questions and pitch ideas on how to move forward and so I looked at AI assisted task managers and after testing about four different ones I landed on this one. It is really really amazing and I haven’t used all of the features yet, but I’m really impressed. Of course there are some bugs and kinks that need to be ironed out because I think this app is relatively new, but I really believe in their approach and I wanted to leave this review to thank them and make sure that I can contribute to helping the team and the product to continue growing and providing such valuable support. Context is everything and Google, ChatGPT or thesaurus.com wasn’t the dev’s friend when listing ‘decompose’ as one of many synonyms for ‘breakdown’.
I’m testing a few ai driven project/task management apps. This one has potential, but the name is killing it for me. Think about the number of times you’ve heard the word decompose used in reference to a dead body or the breakdown of other organic material. Now think about the number of times you’ve heard decompose used in reference to activities, projects, etc. ‘Decompose’ doesn’t exactly inspire visions of productivity either.
Adoption is a steep climb… how much more so if people feel awkward using the name when talking to others? If downloads and adoption are steadily growing at a rate that meets the dev’s goals, consider my perspective meritless.

Actually works
For someone whose task list looks like a receipt from CVS, this app really worked. Tried it for my DIY thing - pomodoro timer and focus tunes were surprisingly effective. Made less of a mess than usual 👍🏽
