Could be great, but it is not
Before Adobe abandoned Aero, it was on the right path to become the standard app in the AR space. However, Adobe seems to have forgotten about it, and it hasn't been updated in over a year. Its numerous bugs make it practically useless—a garbage app for complex projects. I had high hopes for it. Such a shame.

Really good but not consistent. PLEASE UPDATE IT
I absolutely love this software! I took a class on it and learned how to use it so well for AR VR. The only thing is now, a year later when adobe has stopped updating it, i made a new creation that is smaller than my other files and i cannot open it on my phone. something is definitely broken, help!!!

Slow. Buggy. Glitchy.
It’s not even usable for my phone yet I’ve never had problems using any other app, so it’s not my phone. Waiting for adobe to get it together.
Crushing
Can’t believe Adobe hasn’t updated it for the last 10 months. Obviously it’s crushing after all Apple updates.
Impossibly easy to use!
I am a beginner Blender animator and after watching a few tutorials about how to export and import for compatibility it took around 15min to get the AR animation I made up and running! The ability to use QR code to share it is exactly what I needed for a school project!
It is a little annoying how washed out the colors on the AR models are and that I can’t use Blender’s fancy shaders but it works.

This app is extremely frustrating. You spend most of your time adjusting. It doesn’t play GIF animations or imported 3-D models motion. You can tell how bad the app is when you don’t even get a developer response to any of the reviews. This app is obsolete and horrible to work with. I would’ve given it zero stars I could.

NoFBX import
No longer has fbx import for animated models from mixamo = 1 star
I love it
It is so good I made a project then preview it on my phone because the last trigger was to open url so I chose YouTube but when I preview it on my phone it actually open YouTube feels like a five star hotel
Continually Freezing
The app clip freezes immediately each time attempting to view an AR experience with an image anchor. Deleted and redownloaded the app clip with the same issue. Using an iPhone 14 Pro.
Fun App, needs a few improvements
Great app!
Issues/requests:
•AR objects have no depth, always stay in the foreground regardless where they’re placed.
(See ARvid app for improvements)
• Objects are too hard to manipulate and position
•Screen recording feature could use improvements, better quality

This sucks
My thoughts on Aero? I had to get this for school, utterly useless. Here is some of the problems I encountered, not all though.
First, it wouldn’t download even with perfect wifi and no storage. Then when I got it, it wouldn’t connect with my files and kept freezing. After I finally got my file open after an actual hour and 26 minutes of waiting, it froze AGAIN. The app wouldn’t scan the flat surface I was giving and wouldn’t follow any action I tried to get it to do. Useless. It wasn’t rendering my object properly and the app kept closing itself. By now, the deadline on my project was way past due, and I had nothing to show for it. Why? Because it deleted my project on its own. By this point I gave up, but my friend Sam had a similar experience after me. This app ruined my life and made me lose marks on my project, I would not recommend to ANYONE. DO NOT USE THIS APP. In conclusion, it sucks and is not worth getting, a waste of space if you ask me.

Very cool BUT
It can be so unbelievably frustrating.
For example, if your camera is not constantly pointing at the target, there will be an alert at the bottom telling you to aim the camera, and it NEVER GOES AWAY and it covers up important things in the UI. I should be able to edit things without holding my camera up the entire time. There are also options on desktop completely absent on mobile, like hiding shadows.

This app obsolete or what. I click create new and it's just a black screen
Love this app
It’s fun to make small Augment reality video with this app , and when I show my kids, they are like wow this is super cool . This app helps me to explore AR just from my cell phone . Love it .
Needs to be a lot less buggy
Pros:
+ You can get into a playful mindset very quickly to the point where you really feel like anything is possible and it’s easier than VR.
+ With enough perseverance you can actually have something made in SketchUp become animated, link to websites and be made public with a QR code.
+ A manageable amount of animations/behaviors/reflective surfaces to choose from, not too many features, I was able to figure out most things I needed except for what can make images into “slideshows” or how to figure out how to scale elements when there are invisible boundaries I can’t detect or select that changes how something scales up or down.
Cons:
- Not consistent or reliable, I often have to re-make QR codes and abandon projects I’ve worked on for hours because they no longer update. I didn’t even realize until recently I have 3 accounts with Adobe just trying to figure out how to get access to use this program.
- No way to troubleshoot or see if there are any errors that may be causing saving issues
- No way to group or ungroup items from a program like SketchUp so I find myself having to manually import 200+ individual boxes into Adobe Dimension, export each for Aero, then individually work with each box to give it the attributes it needs. Having certain things occur such as shrink in place is impossible due to needing to fix everything in alignment with each other first in another program entirely.
- Version for Mac and version for iPad are both necessary, but don’t always work great together
examples:
1. I can use Adobe Dimension to import SketchUp files that have colors but I can only get images to load if it’s uploaded from my iPad.
2. The iPad didn’t give me errors when some kind of file was too big, but the one on the computer would just refuse to export, however the computer makes duplicating elements that may share similar actions/behaviors much easier.
3. I have more than 100 moving elements that can be triggered, but simply locking each element is actually easier on the iPad because it doesn’t jump back up to the top of the list once I click the lock, but on the computer it’s easier to see and get to the element I’m selecting and to select multiple layers if I want to re-order them. The reverse is true for adding behaviors, you can’t expand the menu much to show all of the behaviors inputted, so I’ve quickly reached an unmanageable level of things to look for where something isn’t linked correctly.
