About

Adrift Cast is a historical weather tool designed for fly fishers. Instead of forecasts, it shows you actual conditions from the past 7 days for any river, lake, or water stretch you’re interested in. HISTORICAL WEATHER FOR ANGLERS View the last 7 days of temperature, rainfall, wind, and barometric pressure for any location worldwide. Every data point is real, not forecasted. FISHING CONDITIONS AT A GLANCE Each day is rated as Prime, Fair, or Tough based on rain, wind, temperature, and pressure trends—so you can quickly see if a spot was worth visiting. PRESSURE TRENDS THAT MATTER A rising pressure trend often indicates better conditions, while a falling trend can cause fish to stop feeding. Adrift Cast displays exactly which way pressure has been moving with a full chart. SAVE YOUR SPOTS Save as many locations as you like. Cards display the latest conditions, pressure trend, and weather details at a glance. It works fully offline — your saved spots are always accessible without a signal. FISHING DIARY Log every trip with a headline, notes, mood, catch count, species, and water level. Entries are linked to saved spots, sorted by date, and searchable. A calendar view shows your fishing days, making it easy to find past trips. OFFLINE FIRST All weather data is cached automatically. Head out to the river without worry about signal — your spots load instantly from the last update. A quiet, field-journal style aesthetic. No ads, no account needed.

Map picker now shows your current location as a blue dot, plus a “locate me” button (bottom-right) that re-centres the map on you. • Dropped pins are draggable — tap to drop a pin, then long-press it and drag to fine-tune the exact fishing spot before confirming. • Clearer error messages when a weather load fails — you’ll now see whether it was a timeout, a temporary server outage, or a connection issue, instead of a generic “couldn’t load”. • Graceful handling when Open-Meteo’s historical archive is temporarily unavailable — yesterday + today’s data are shown with a small explanation banner, instead of an error screen.
