4/9/21 response - Hello. The game was recently forced to update to the newest version of Unity, so we are not sure if that has affected your game play due to your device as we aren't sure which specific device you are using. The game does not favor PC vs mobile users, it is cross platform. Please visit our help page for troubleshooting options - https://support.artix.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001576091. We haven't ever had controller support, but it is something we may look into in the future. PVP is optional and just for fun, and there aren't any advantages between using a specific device/controller. As AQ3D has been out of Closed Beta for over a decade, we are rebooting the main story and updating a lot of old content, areas, quests, etc. All of this has been posted via our website to read, so please make sure you are reading all posts via AQ3D.com/news and we also post updates via our official social media. AQ3D has always been free to play and purchasing any upgrades is completely optional, so there is no cash grab, money required, etc. We have already released all of the main content and features that were announced via our Kickstarter and have had weekly updates since then for over a decade. AQ3D is definitely not dead and we will continue to grow, update and evolve it as best as we can as an indie company with a small team. EDIT on 7/13/26 - Thank you so much for your 5 star review and continued feedback and support! We may look into controller support into the future, now that AQWorlds Infinity now has it (although it's a different game.) I want to make it clear that I have no intention of giving up on AQ3D. This game has been part of my journey as a player for many years, and insulting developers has never been my way. My feedback has always been meant to help improve the game because I truly believe in your potential.
Just as AQ3D has a long history, I am also a long-time supporter and feel I have the right to speak within the community. The new *Mossmere* arc was a good restart, but it still needs crucial adjustments: monsters with colors that make sense in their natural habitats and, most importantly, a continuation of the story that feels relevant and engaging. These details make all the difference in immersion.
I know the team works hard, but I also know you have great potential. The opinion of the community is essential and cannot be ignored, since it is the fan base that has kept the game alive all these years. I hope my words are seen as encouragement for AQ3D to keep growing and reaching more players.
Team, it is important to listen to the tips and requests from fans. This can make the game bigger and better. Do not ignore the suggestions and improvements that the community asks for with heart, because those who still dedicate time to giving ideas truly want the best for AQ3D.

Thank you for your feedback. AQ3D has been out of Open Beta for almost a decade so they have been many, many changes and updates to the game. We just released the new intro Mossmere which reboots the main story. AQ3D has also always been free to play, any upgrades are completely optional, and this model has never changed. The same core team still works on the game and they have continued to work hard to improve the game based on player feedback. Please keep checking AQ3D.com/news for updates. EDIT - NEW RESPONSE on 6/22/26 - We're sorry it doesn't look like AdventureQuest 3D is the game for you. We have had weekly updates for over a decade and all information about them are posted via AQ3D.com/news and via our social media. If you had read our updates listed in our last response, you would see we are rebooting the main story, have been updating older areas of the game and are planning a ton more new content. We aren't sure what drop you are referring to and have the same or similar RNG/drops that other MMOs have with rare items. Everyone here on the AQ3D Team works hard to create, develop, test and support the game and insulting any of our staff is not okay. There will always be groups of players who will never be happy, no matter what, which isn't something we can control. However, we have always focused our efforts on those who continue to inspire and support us, as the game would not still be here over a decade later out of Closed Beta without them.
