Don’t bother!

Does not work, consistently displaying “Disconnected” , if I could give zero stars i would!

Works well with ADSBee 1090U

Most of the one star reviewers are confusing this app with an app that shows air traffic using an internet connection. This app pulls data from a portable ADS-B receiver via the GDL90 protocol (sent over WiFi, not connected to the internet). When you do have one of these devices handy, the app works as described. The developer is friendly and responsive to feedback about the app whenever there are any issues or comments that I have. This app has been very helpful for testing my portable ADS-B receiver!

FAQ

What does this app do?

This app receives and displays real-time aircraft traffic data on a map from ADS-B receivers. It also includes an attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) that shows airspeed, altitude, and heading. Additionally, it can display METAR and TAF weather reports.

How does the app get aircraft data?

The app connects to ADS-B receivers, such as Stratux, that support the GDL 90 protocol. It requires GDL 90 data to be sent to a specific UDP port, which can be configured in the app's settings. The app works independently of an internet connection, relying solely on the ADS-B receiver.

Is the weather data free?

No, the METAR/TAF weather data feature requires a one-time unlock purchase within the app. It is recommended to check the availability of weather data reception in your region before purchasing this unlock.

Does this app require an internet connection?

No, the app works entirely independent from an internet connection. It relies solely on the data received from your connected ADS-B receiver.

What devices is this app compatible with?

The app is designed to work with devices that can receive ADS-B data via the GDL 90 protocol. It functions independently of internet connectivity, making it suitable for use in areas with limited or no signal. Compatibility with specific ADS-B receivers should be confirmed.
