This app is horrible. I was trying to get to my lesson and it just gave me a Korean label that I couldn’t read. This app does not fight glitches and should be banded for poor quality NOW.

The drums aren’t where you’d expect them is one thing. But the delay from the action to the sound makes it completely unusable. Even the bass drum which is button pressed is a good 1/4second out. Useless garbage

If I could give it a 0 stars, I would. It doesn’t do anything that it is supposed to do. It is difficult to connect the drums and when they finally do, it won’t calibrate.
Waste of money
The app doesn’t connect properly, With my AeroBand pocket drum 2MAX. Literally doesn’t let you get past the first beginner level. The app keeps crashing and giving me an arrow messaging Chinese.

I got the pocket drum 2 max for Christmas and I’m in love with it. I can finally practice drumming just about ANYWHERE without bothering anybody. The app is almost decent but could be a lot better if they added more features. For starters, there is latency but with Bluetooth signals that’s expected with something like this. The sticks are also sensitive to the strikes but it’s air drumming so the only thing it’s hitting is air. They could most definitely and absolutely add a million more songs. I’ve loved drumming to the songs they do have and even though it can be difficult to hit notes right on the dot, I’ve enjoyed it. Although, I can definitely say if they don’t add more songs soon (songs that are enjoyable) then it will get boring in the near future. I could plug the sticks up to a daw but I really love what the app has going on. Another thing that would be nice is if they added a rewind, forward, play and pause buttons to be able to go to certain spots in the songs and practice in those certain areas. I’ve been having to start songs ALL over again just to go over one area again. This app could be so much more and I’m hoping the developers make a huge update to this in the future. This seems like something that could draw a lot of attention if better updates are made. I hope to see this improve so I don’t have to delete it later on.

Does not work
Cannot connect bass drum or hi hat pedals. Drum sticks hit the wrong pads or just randomly hit when not trying to hit. The app itself is glitchy.

So I got the pocketdrum drum map and the sticks and I’ve been struggling to even get the sticks to work and make sound, they vibrate and whatnot but I’m trying to register an account in the app and it won’t work. My number won’t get sent a code and when I try to do email the email they ‘sent’ never shows up. There’s no sound coming from my phone and I’m very confused. I tried to plug the sticks into my phone like the manual says you can do for sound but it didn’t work..

Doesn’t work anymore
First, it was not as bad as seen in the comments. Still need to calibrate every so often but manageable. Lessons are ok and progress easy to follow. Even when the sticks get confused. But since few days, the lessons doesn’t load anymore. It gets lost in an infinite loop. Hopefully this issue will be fixed.

App says Bluetooth is not connected.
Maybe it’s me but I could not even pass the collaboration on the app even though it was connected to my phone, the app stated it was not 😭
Great product, garbage app
As the title says, I love my pocketdrums, but this app is absolute garbage and has not been updated in over two years. The app had some promise, but as is it’s just not helpful at all. It does function as it should, as in I had no problems getting my drums connected to the app. Past that, everything else is a buggy mess. I’m glad I’m not stuck with using the app, as I’ve got the adapter unit to play through any speakers or wired headphones.

Not Good At All
I really wanted to learn to use my Aero Pocketdrum and thought this app would help me get started. I registered and that’s pretty much what this app would allow me to do. Also it holds in portrait mode(horizontal) and even when rotating vertical stays in portrait mode. This is very disappointing. Perhaps they will fix the app to make it more user friendly. In the meantime I have to figure out how to learn to play with the Aero Pocketdrums.

Somewhat helpful
It’s ok. The zones for the drum set are off from what I actually have set up, and there’s no way to change it right now.
I also thought you could unlock different genres of music to play along to, but I know now that it is actually how the drums sound in the app. In “song mode” the beats you play with the pocket drums are actually a beat early, so you can hear them in time thanks to sound delay, so be careful when switching to real drums again.
The developers should have waited for a more polished version before relaxing to public. It has a lot of potential to be good, it’s just not right now
