About
A quiet space to hold your thoughts. Never seen by anyone but you unless you feel like sharing.
Aether is a quiet space for unstructured thinking. Not a productivity app. Not a habit tracker. A place to drop things in, sit with them, and let some of them go.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything you write is stored only in your own iCloud account. There are no Aether servers, no accounts to create, and no data ever seen by us or any third party. Your journal belongs to you. Journaling is personal, what you feel should be too.
THE AETHER
Drop in a thought using a simple prompt — "I want," "I fear," "I keep coming back to," "I'm learning" — and watch it settle into a drifting, physics-based space alongside everything else you've dropped in. Drag thoughts into clusters, scatter them apart, or let them float. Every thought is logged, newest first, so nothing is lost.
JOURNAL
A space to write at length with no structure required. Save an entry and it settles into your growing archive, dated and always there to revisit.
QUESTIONS
Keep the questions you're sitting with — the ones you keep circling back to. Mark one as "held" when it settles, without deleting the record that you asked it.
I RELEASE
Write down what you're carrying, then let it go. Released entries dissolve from view, leaving only a quiet trace in the log — a small ritual for putting something down.
EXPORT ANYTIME
Export selections or your entire archive as a readable PDF or as JSON for backup or import — your data is portable because it's actually yours.
Aether isn't trying to gamify reflection or turn your thoughts into streaks and stats. It's a private, ad-free space to think in your own words, on your own terms.
