Worked but Cant trust result
Took 3 tries to get it to work. The foot position they require is tricky.
Gave it 2 stars for giving me a result thats not obviously terrible after 3 tries. Loss of stars because I cant trust the result and it took too many attempts.
I wear 9.5 EE or 10D. It gave me 8.5E. Normally you add 0.5 to Brannock length so it is 0.5 size off my typical shoe size. I cant recall ever squeezing into a size 9. Width measurement looks right.
I think most people would use this app to get a Brannock measurement for an online shoe order. We all know our shoe size. So is this app more trustworthy than just looking up your current shoe size in a Brannock table?
No it is not more trustworthy. You cant look at the result and trust it. You dont know if you made a mistake or the app did or both. You need a trusted measurement to calibrate against... which is a Brannock device...which none of us have.
Note: The concern about security and privacy is strange. Just use anything shaped like a credit card. I used my bus pass. Or tape over your credit card. Or trace your card onto paper.
