Great potential, buggy
I use this app every time I’m on the boat alone. Problem is when I close out the plan after a trip, it shows closed in the app but my contacts get emergency notified that I’ve been out past the window anyway. Next time I open the app, the trip shows up as if I hadn’t closed it days earlier. Buggy. Would be a simple, fantastic app if they can fix the glitch.

Pretty easy; would like to be able to enter departure date/time
Easy to set up. I like that it automatically sends the float plan to emergency contacts. The downside for me is that it assumes you are filling out the plan immediately prior to departure. I’d like to be able to specify a departure date/time so that I can fill it out while I’m planning and not as I’m trying to get in the water at a busy boat ramp. Also I kayak in remote places where signal is spotty, so I’d like to be able to send my plan while I’m still in civilization.

Easy Float Plans & Automatic Communication
I never filed a float plan in my life before this app, and I have to say, once you’re set up, it makes it super easy. Letting someone know the status of your trip is pretty much automatic. This app makes me feel safer on the water. Highly recommend!
Could be a real Lifesaver
Excellent app, easy to use, could be a real Lifesaver always file a float plan when out boating let contacts know where you are going and when you will be back.
