A Life Saver

By linking to iOS devices together my iPhone, and my iPad, I can leave my iPad on the boat and it sends me email messages if I’m outside the designated area. I sleep way better at night when I set my Anchor Pro hasn’t failed me yet.

Hard to figure out

After two years of occasionally using this app, I Still haven’t figured out what the large and small circle is all about and the degrees on the large circle. Directions are not well worded to assist with this. I just make both circles 200’ and the large circle 359degrees and eliminate the odd shape. I usually forget ed t to set at anchor drop so I put in degrees to anchor and distance my chain is out, otherwise the alarm goes off constantly.

FAQ

What does Anchor Pro do?

Anchor Pro is a companion app for boaters that helps them set their anchor location in real-time or manually. It allows users to define safe zones, monitor their boat's movement, and receive critical alerts to ensure their anchor is holding.

What are the key features of Anchor Pro?

Key features include real-time anchor setting, customizable safe zone definition, continuous monitoring of boat movement with map view, and timely alerts for position, GPS signal strength, and battery level. It also offers remote alerts via Telegram or email and an Apple Watch companion app.

How much does Anchor Pro cost?

Core features of Anchor Pro are always free. Premium features are available through a free trial. An optional Anchor Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks additional features for $6.99 USD per year, with pricing potentially varying by country.

What devices is Anchor Pro compatible with?

Anchor Pro is available for iOS devices and includes a companion app for Apple Watch. The app utilizes background audio and location services to keep alerts active even when not in the foreground.

How can I use Anchor Pro to ensure my anchor is holding?

You can set your anchor's precise location and define a safe swing area. The app then continuously monitors your boat's position relative to the anchor and the safe zone. You will receive immediate alerts if the boat moves outside the set parameters, indicating a potential anchor drag.
