About

aftererg keeps intent, execution and history together. Programme a session, row it with your machine connected, then read what actually happened — beside your own comparable rows, not a leaderboard. Use past rows as templates and send them to your PM5 to 'Row again'. We upload results to your C2 logbook , if you have one, and provide local-first storage and analysis on your device. Our comparison system finds similar rows automatically and our maps and filters help you find and investigate patterns in your performance. Row. Reflect. Repeat. PROGRAMME YOUR ROW • Describe a session in plain language, dictate it, build every interval by hand or row any session you've done before • Distance, time and calorie pieces, with rests • Fixed, variable and descending intervals • Pace and stroke-rate targets, set per piece • Save programmes to a library and send compatible workouts to the monitor • Relative targets take your best times over 1k, 2k, 5k and 10k and allow you to set pace targets with off-sets ROW LIVE • Connect over Bluetooth and keep pace, rate, heart rate and drive shape in view • A live efficiency map plots pace against stroke rate as you row • Recent force curves show the shape of the drive • Interval progress and rest stay legible while you are moving • Row against a ghost drawn from your own best or typical session • Race mode for a projection-lane view of the piece UNDERSTAND THE ROW • The temporal pace profile keeps the recorded clock and separates recovery, so a row reads as a sequence of strokes rather than one average • Side-by-side comparison of pace, rate and workout shape • Post-row reflection in calm, evidence-led language — observations, not verdicts • Stroke-level detail where the source recorded it, and visible gaps where it did not NAVIGATE YOUR HISTORY • Season heatmap: move from training rhythm to a single day, then into the rows behind it • Efficiency map across your whole history — select a point, open the workout it represents • Comparable sessions grouped by distance, structure and workout identity, so like stays with like • Last workout placed in recent and seasonal context as soon as it lands WORKS WITH YOUR SETUP • Concept2 Logbook access places downloaded workouts and local captures in one history • Rows recorded in ErgData still arrive through your Logbook • Apple Watch gives you another way to capture heart rate during live capture • iPhone and iPad, with a layout built for each CHOOSE YOUR DEPTH aftererg is free to download. • Free — full Logbook browser, local capture, recent workout context • Repeat — full comparison and season views, Row Again and saved programmes, live ghost and race mode • Refine — everything in Repeat, plus internal segments, Power 10s, per-piece targets and library import Repeat and Refine are available monthly or annually. PRIVATE BY DESIGN aftererg reads your workouts with your permission and does not rewrite your existing Logbook history. Captures are local first and useful before any network round trip. Your analysis stays private unless you choose to make something and share it. NOT A COACH aftererg is a personal evidence layer. It describes your own rowing history and comparisons — no population rankings, no readiness scores, no prescriptions. aftererg is not affiliated with Concept2. What's New in aftererg

A big release for us enhancing PM5 programming, adding personalised targets and adding refinements to visualisations. • Personalised pace context. Pace now reads against a model built from your own recent comparable rows rather than a fixed reference. • Captured sessions upload to your Concept2 Logbook. Rows recorded in aftererg queue and upload on their own, with duplicate reconciliation so a session does not land twice. • One target model. Pace and rate targets behave the same way whether you set them on a piece, a segment or the whole session, and they read the same live and afterwards. • Segments along the timeline. Internal segments now sit on the workout timeline instead of in a list, so the structure of a session is easier to see at a glance. • Apple Watch heart rate during live capture. • A single importable workout library, compiled across sources. • Row hub offers a benchmark piece when nothing else has resolved yet. • Faster launch, and no stall while a large cached logbook decodes.
