Pretty basic and you have to jump through many hoops to get there (I had to Look on YouTube at a video from the Panasonic rep who explains everything); but it does work and is handy.

Save your money
The app doesn’t have live view (like the app for the GH4 and the GH5) so it is pretty much useless. Sure, you can start and stop the camera, and can change the camera settings, but without live view you cannot see what effect these changes have on the image. So the potential to do more harm than good outweighs any actual benefit. I wish I could return the USB dongle (another bit of ridiculousness from Panasonic since the GH4 and GH5 have wifi built in and cost less).

Works when it wants to
This is an unreliable application. The camera is connected to a network, was able to use the app one time, then it refreshed and can't connect. Nothing has changed as far as settings. There is literally no support for this camera.
Useless without live view
What is the point of creating an remote app when you can't see what you are controlling? This is useless without a live view.
No Live View
No live view is a deal breaker for me. Why go through all the trouble to make an app that is almost good? Bought the expensive wifi dongle and set it all up just to find out my varizoom is just as useful!! Maybe varizoom will add a live view to their controllers before Pana adds one to their would be app 😡
