Fantastic Strategy Game; one problem
Epic, turn-based strategy. Reminds me of Civ and Risk. Several scenarios from different time periods. Lots of depth for the price! My one issue: you have to completely exit out of the game to get back to the menu. A return to menu button would be appreciated. Great game though thanks!!

Overpriced
I can get angry birds for a dollar, so why do i have to pay three bucks for this?
This game is heavily overpriced. There is a bit of lag, there's no way to make alliances, and there hasn't been an update for at least five months.
Other than that, this is an excellent app. Just currently, as it is, it's only worth a dollar.

Great game!
This game is well worth the cost. It's a great light strategy game and it plays differently each time. The AI is challenging -better than in most games I play.

So far it's crashed during every campaign I've done, before I get a chance to finish.

I love this game but it needs a multiplayer not just an online, that way I can play my friend Turkmenistan as Tajikistan.
The major empire is missing, Ottoman Turks
How can you call this the age of empires when you totally miss the Ottoman Turkish empire which ruled up until WW1. upgrade your empires and it will feel more real.

I don't normally leave reviews but I went against the accepted wisdom and bought this game, having dismissed other tirades against it as nothing. Oh no, how wrong was I?! It keeps crashing during the campaign mode and cutting me off. I love these kind of games, and this really put a dampener on my day - get it fixed whoever you are,

Also, this NEEDS an undo button. With all the stupid 'nexts' that you have to press, you eventually hit end turn accidentally, it's really dumb.
All of the games pit together would be worth $3-5, not individually.
Honestly, most people shouldn't buy any at all as the maps don't create enough of a change to warrant the price.
Advice: Download free version, play it a while. Unless you ABSOLUTELY love it, don't pay for the other ones.

Can't launch campaign after update
Since the HD update, i cant launch a campaign. It allows me to select a scenario, but the window for selecting an empire is cut off. Since I'm unable to choose an empire, I'm unable to actually play the game.

Great Game, Recommended
Best strategy game on the Itunes store yet, highly recomnended to anyone who likes good long strategy war games. But it could do with an update so that you could ally up with other countrys/empires and a simple notification that tells you that your at war with someone. But still best game on app store!

This is a good game but I reckon that there should be a simple diplomacy feature for at "war" or "not at war" because I don't like being at war with everybody on the map and losing half lands in one turn
