You took the game away
I loved this back in the day. It used to be a one time purchase. I paid for it and halfbrick took it off of the App Store and removed the ability to redownload. Now they’ve brought it back and are doing a really greedy subscription service. So ridiculous.

I absolutely wanted to play this game but I absolutely will not pay for a subscription just to play your game. That’s just garbage. I hope these developers go out of business.

Very greedy company
I think it is a very shady business practice to get your customers to buy an app, delete the app from the App Store and then re-upload the app to the App Store and require them to download another app in order to gain access to the support of the previous app and then void all of their previous purchases to any of the apps via the half brick company. This is a complete violation of purchasing and your support system is absolute garbage. I do not recommend anyone to buy any half brick apps or support their half brick studio app. They are a terrible company and I will recommend all of my friends and family to never download any of their apps. Such a sad thing as this company made so many great games which I will never play again as their support is garbage, and their apps are based around a subscription system now. All of my previous app purchases are completely voided and they will not honor any of it. Completely disappointed and I hope they make amends at some point. Until then I will never support this company again.

Game says it’s free you download it. You gotta make an account and put in credentials and pay.
No controller support/subscription
I played this years ago, had a few 100 hours in it, now can’t play it with the backbone controller, plus have to pay monthly.

Can’t believe I have to pay (again) for a game I already purchased over 13 years ago. Even the responses the devs are giving to these reviews are so slimy. “Subscriptions aren’t for everyone! Try our other free games!”, you guys are a joke. What a soulless shell half brick has become. I hope you know how stupid you look when replying to these legitimate complaints. Money hungry cheap losers.

Was so ecstatic when I saw this game back on the App Store but opened it to find that it now needs a subscription to play more than 30 minutes. What a joke, what ever happened to half brick?

My childhood but…
There have too much ads, please remove ads because why ruin a childhood you built to just ruin it. Your doing the Great but please add my features and remove ads. Us people want to re live our childhoods. Not to mention how you need to buy in order to play or spend 30 minutes just to realize you needed to buy a pass just to play. I would rated a 5 but why? Why do this to us? Please remove ads and let us not have to pay anything? Also you said AD-Free.

Subscription service
Would give it 5 stars because I love this game. Adding a subscription service to all halfbrick games really turned me off to any of their games now. I miss the days where you could buy something once and that was it.
Used to be good
This game was amazing in its peak, but consumerism has consumed halfbrick and now it is unplayable unless you intend in paying for a subscription service that you are guaranteed to forget about and then cancel after one month, but its too late now BUDDY the money is already taken out of your account -5/10

Not worth it in the long run.
I was genuinely excited to play this game of my childhood, until I realized it was a pay to play game.
I will not pay a monthly fee to play a game that is over 10 years old. While I get it helps fund other games, it is a cash grab, and shows how they don’t care for their fan base.
Overall, I’d rather get a screen filled with ads, than to pay monthly to play a game that’s over a decade old.
Halfbrick lost all my respect.
