This update brings sixteen months of work to iPhone at once, covering everything since version 1.5.1. STABILIZATION - Stabilization is over 10 times faster and more accurate. - Manual adjustment improvements. Drag, pinch and rotate a photo directly to fix its alignment, with undo. Previously you typed offset, scale and rotation into text boxes. - In group photos, AgeLapse now recognizes and follows the same person on its own. VIDEO - 8K and fully custom output resolutions. - Choose your background: a solid colour, or a blurred version of your own photo. - Transparent backgrounds with ProRes 4444. - Modern encoding: H.264, HEVC and ProRes, using your iPhone's hardware encoder. Much better quality, smaller files, and videos that play properly everywhere. - See an estimated time remaining while compiling. - Turn off automatic compiling so the video only rebuilds when you ask. PHOTOS AND GALLERY - Recently Deleted. Deleted photos are recoverable for 30 days. - Select multiple photos at once for bulk actions. - Inspection Mode overlays an alignment grid across your gallery so you can check your timelapse before exporting, with 1 to 4 columns. - Import RAW files (DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW and more), plus TIFF and JP2. - Keep your original files byte for byte on import, including metadata and filenames. - Sync a project from a folder with linked source folders. - Redesigned import flow with a preview and clearer date extraction. CAPTURE AND DATE STAMPS - Camera timer with a 3 or 10 second countdown. - Date stamps on photos, thumbnails and your final video, with custom format, font, size, position and opacity. ALSO NEW - Cat and dog project types for pet timelapses. - Light theme, following your system setting or set manually. - Redesigned interface throughout, including a rebuilt gallery and video player. - Exportable logs, so reporting a problem is much easier. - AgeLapse is now also free on Mac, Windows and Linux. BUG FIXES - Deleted photos could still appear in the finished video. Fixed. - Dates and time zones are now read correctly from imported photos, so gallery order and streaks stay accurate. - Fixed photos taken before 2001 sorting incorrectly. - Fixed thumbnails not refreshing after manual or retried stabilization. - Fixed exporting photos to .zip failing on some devices. - Fixed a crash when compiling with hundreds of date-stamped photos. - Many other crash, layout and stability fixes.
