Poor quality
Response from developer
Thank you for testing TrueFrame AI and for trimming a sample clip to evaluate the export quality. That is exactly why we designed the free 2-minute limit so creators can fully test the 4K, 120 FPS, and HDR pipeline locally before spending a dime. AI upscaling results heavily depend on the source video's original compression and lighting. We are constantly tuning our local Apple Silicon models to minimize artifacts, and we highly recommend adjusting the Reduce Noise and Motion Blur filters to find the best balance for your specific file. If you'd like to help us improve, please feel free to reach out to trueframeai@outlook.com with your video specs. We would love to optimize future updates for your use case!
Nice

Thank you for the feedback! The darker image can happen if the enhanced HDR/Dolby Vision video is played back on a non-HDR (SDR) display or a player without proper tone mapping. The green bar is usually related to pixel buffer alignment for specific video resolutions. I want to make sure this is fixed for your setup. Could you please drop me an email at trueframeai@outlook.com with your device model and video specs? This will help me isolate the issue for the next update. Thanks!
What happened to the app
Response from developer
Hi, TrueFrame AI does not use cloud servers. All video enhancement is performed locally on your device, and your videos never leave the device. The 3-minute limit is not related to cloud processing. Premium is required for longer videos and helps support the continued development of the app, including new features, improvements, maintenance, and ongoing support. TrueFrame AI remains a fully on-device video enhancement app with no cloud rendering or video uploads. Thanks for trying the app and for sharing your feedback.
The new update ruined this app.
Response from developer
Thanks for the feedback — and for being a longtime TrueFrame AI user. I understand the frustration with the 3-minute limit, especially if you’ve been using the app for longer concert recordings. I wanted to be transparent about why this changed: features like AI frame interpolation, upscaling, HDR processing, and high-quality export take a significant amount of time and ongoing development to build and maintain. TrueFrame AI is fully on-device, ad-free, and privacy-focused - there are no ads, accounts, or servers subsidizing the experience. The free version is meant to let people test the quality and workflow, while the paid version helps make continued development possible. I genuinely appreciate your support and feedback, and I hope you’ll continue giving TrueFrame AI a chance.
