What happened to the app

I used to use this app for Dolby vision 60fps 4K or 8K and you used my device and slow processing that was fine but now you use the ai from your cloud servers and now I have to pay for a 3m video?!!?? What

Response from developer

Hi, TrueFrame AI does not use cloud servers. All video enhancement is performed locally on your device, and your videos never leave the device. The 3-minute limit is not related to cloud processing. Premium is required for longer videos and helps support the continued development of the app, including new features, improvements, maintenance, and ongoing support. TrueFrame AI remains a fully on-device video enhancement app with no cloud rendering or video uploads. Thanks for trying the app and for sharing your feedback.

The new update ruined this app.

This used to be the goat of AI frame interpolation and upscaling. The new 3-minute video limit sucks. You have to pay some sort of subscription to mess with a video over 3 minutes. I always used this app to enhance concert recordings and now I don’t know what to use. It would mean a lot if you would remove this feature.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback — and for being a longtime TrueFrame AI user. I understand the frustration with the 3-minute limit, especially if you’ve been using the app for longer concert recordings. I wanted to be transparent about why this changed: features like AI frame interpolation, upscaling, HDR processing, and high-quality export take a significant amount of time and ongoing development to build and maintain. TrueFrame AI is fully on-device, ad-free, and privacy-focused - there are no ads, accounts, or servers subsidizing the experience. The free version is meant to let people test the quality and workflow, while the paid version helps make continued development possible. I genuinely appreciate your support and feedback, and I hope you’ll continue giving TrueFrame AI a chance.

The fact that the upscaler is so good

So I used this app a lot and the fps booster and the Dolby vision like this app is underrated

issue

its very buggy on iphone 11 :/

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the 5-star rating — I really appreciate it! 🙏 Regarding the bugs on the iPhone 11: TrueFrame AI is developed by just one person, and unfortunately I don’t have access to older devices for proper testing. I’m doing my best to improve performance across all supported models, but some issues on earlier hardware may take a bit longer to diagnose and optimize. If you’re willing to share more details about the bugs you encountered, it would help me a lot. You can contact me anytime at trueframeai@outlook.com — every report makes the app better for everyone. Thank you again for your support!
