aGram — What's New NOTIFICATION SOUNDS • Choose a notification sound for a single chat, or for a whole kind of chat — private chats, groups and forums, channels. • Sounds you have added to your Telegram account are available here, and you can upload more from the app with Telegram Premium. • Your choice is stored in your Telegram account, so it follows you to your other devices. PRIVACY AND SECURITY • A proper Privacy and Security screen: who can see your last seen, profile photo, bio, date of birth and phone number, and who can call you, add you to groups or send you voice messages. • See everyone you have blocked, and unblock them from the list. • Blocked users, two-step verification, active sessions and the app lock now live in one place, which makes Settings shorter to get through. MESSAGES THAT STAY PUT • A message arriving in the chat you are reading no longer stays invisible until you leave the chat and come back. • Reply to a message from a different chat, and hear those replies read out with who said what, and where. • Polls display again, music files are no longer collapsed into a single album, and a group or channel you left stops coming back. • Start a conversation with a bot that was never started, join a discussion group when you comment, and only see forward targets you can actually post to. VOICE AND AUDIO • Voice messages start faster: the app no longer fetches every voice note from every chat before you ask for one. • When a download fails or takes too long, it says so, instead of leaving you waiting in silence. • Music and video notes play through the same player as voice notes, so the mini-player, lock screen controls, Magic Tap, speed and seek all reach them. • Raise the phone to your ear to record a voice message, and playback now interrupts other audio cleanly instead of talking over it. VOICEOVER • Rotor actions are no longer announced twice on chats, blocked users and proxies. • "Go to quoted message" works again, and a reply is announced as a reply even when the message it answers is older than what is loaded. • A position slider in the mini-player, and seeking in the video viewer. • Choose what Magic Tap does. Turn off connection announcements, or the read-back of the message you just sent. • Usernames are links, Telegram links open inside aGram, and a link to a specific message now lands on that message. • Captions, video notes, translations and "forwarded from" are all announced properly, and focus follows your own message when you send it with the keyboard open. GROUPS AND CHANNELS • Group and channel administration now matches what Telegram allows: permissions, administrators, invite links, bans and the rest. ACCOUNTS AND SHARING • Notifications and calls open in the account they were sent to. • Pick the account you are sharing from in the share sheet, and images shared from other apps arrive as images rather than unopenable files.
