What's New in aGram

1.2.2

July 15, 2026

aGram — What's New MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS • Sign in to more than one Telegram account and switch between them in a tap. Every account stays live with its own notifications, and the app badge adds up unread across accounts. The first account is free; connecting more is a one-time in-app purchase. A SMOOTHER CONVERSATION • The conversation screen was rebuilt natively for rock-solid VoiceOver: focus lands on the right message, the view no longer jumps while you read, and your place holds when older history loads. Swipe left or right to move message by message. • The long-press context menu is back on messages, with the same actions as the VoiceOver rotor. • More message types now display properly instead of "unsupported" — shared locations, games, giveaways, gifts, stories, expired media, and more. UNREAD, DONE RIGHT • A new "unread only" filter in the chat list — the main list or any folder. • The unread counter is now accurate across forums and albums, and appears in the Chats tab title. APPLE WATCH (BETA) • An experimental Apple Watch app: read your chats and reply from your wrist. Still in beta — feedback welcome. SOUND & NOTIFICATIONS • Incoming messages play aGram's own sound instead of the system tone. • Tapping a notification opens exactly the right message and account. LANGUAGES • Ukrainian added; Simplified Chinese added; fuller translation coverage across every supported language. Plus forum improvements, more reliable file sharing, and a long list of accessibility and reliability fixes. Send feedback any time via Settings → Send Feedback.

This app needs a lot of work in the performance department

Using voiceover. After a period of time not using the app, when I open it, it can take up to 60 seconds for me to actually navigate as what I can only assume all of the messages I have sent and received are synced up again. This is despite the fact that I have notifications enabled, and so that should be happening anyway.

Let's also talk about the fact that notifications do not get removed from the notification center, like in regular Telegram, when Telegram is used on another device and that message gets read. They simply stay in the notification center until you manually remove ∮m.

For an app at this price point, I expected better. Why am I left waiting while I hear the voiceover sound for the on screen keyboard disappearing for over 60 seconds? And while all of this happens I can't use my device at all. I'm paying for accessibility and a proper telegram experience, not an app that takes over a minute to catch up each time I load into it from a notification I just received.

And once again, using the reply function from said notification doesn't even send a message. By far one of the worst purchases I've made and unfortunately the refund policy doesn't allow me to act on this. Pretty upset at just how much money wasted on what feels like an absolute scam. I'd love to say this was an amazing purchase, but right now it comes with so many Caveats and Issues. I simply cannot recommend it.
