What's New in AI Apnea Trainer
1.5.5
October 15, 2026
DIVE ANALYSIS - New DEPTH SPLITS in dive detail: descent and ascent speed and average heart rate for every 10 m (dives of 20 m or deeper). Tap a row to highlight that section on the charts. - Velocity and water temperature now share one chart. - Heart rate uses one dedicated color on every screen. - Export a single dive as JSON from the Export menu in dive detail. - Copy training and ocean logs as structured JSON. - Better UDDF import compatibility. AI COACH - The app now asks for your consent before sending data to an external AI. You can withdraw consent in Settings. - Log incidents per dive (Early turn / EQ trouble / Blackout / LMC / Squeeze and more). Reports that may need medical attention are not sent to the AI; guidance is shown on your device instead. - Reviews are now split into Observations, Interpretation, Next Focus and Safety Notes. Safety Notes come from fixed rules (such as AIDA surface intervals), not from the AI. TRAINING - Session results compare your total hold time with your last session of the same table. - PB results show this attempt, your previous PB and the difference. - Logs are now confirmed with a long press. - Table type and hold mode selectors now use text labels only. FIXES - Fixed a new PB record being lost when results were discarded without a prompt. - Fixed the session type being detected wrongly when a table was named "MAX HOLD". - RESET during a session now asks for confirmation. DESIGN & ACCESSIBILITY - Supports Dynamic Type. - Added VoiceOver labels, and the PB screen now supports Magic Tap. - Blinking and motion are reduced when Reduce Motion is on. - Small buttons have larger tap areas. - Unified colors across iPhone, Apple Watch and Live Activities.
