Glitchy

I thought I’d give it a try for a DND setup, it started off fine, new adventure made. I described curse of strahd with my character, including how I was going to start with gear.

The app then immediately forgot my character and background, put me in a town of strahd, and continued to tell me to pick a world design.

Restarting app did not help. AI just seemed confused.

Amazing

Fun and entertaining

Enjoyable and Creative

I’m finding this a fun way to spark creativity and storytelling. However, I don’t like how very repetitive the game is as you continue on along the same storyline. With each goal completed, every subsequent sequal is essentially the same story, repeated, with the same beats, same basic goal, same enemies, just all with slightly different names. This makes me less inclined to keep playing. I want storylines that evolve and grow instead of just repeating themselves. We need variety in the storytelling to make this really worthwhile.

It was fun, but the update killed it!

This game used to be fun, but the recent updated made it unplayable. Your weapons disappear in the middle of a fight, the AI apologizes for the screw up, and then it gets worse. The attack from an enemy hits you for 18 hps but you loose 42 instead. The AI is truly terrible , the update made it prettier, but the AI is simply stupid, unable to compute simple math.

Loving it so far but

Been messing around with this and I’ve just been pelted with combat encounter after encounter it kinda sucks because I’ll be doing something (ie my character is sitting in a class room only for a wolf to jump from a screen and attack) I get that you don’t want them to be obvious or anything but it was three combat encounters like this in the span of like 20 minutes. I wanna be able to learn about the world the characters are in without getting attacked randomly because the ai thinks it’s been too long since I killed anything.

Beginners critique

I have only played one and a half campaigns so far, and while I am very much enjoying this system, I do have some critiques. The open-minded (I say that loosely) AI system is usually very accommodating to my imagination. I have Ben able to create custom objects, artifacts, dynamics, and even deep relationships in an imaginary world. Sometimes I feel as though the ai is too accommodating, but that is not something I would change. This should be left to the individual player as it currently is. If the player chooses to create overpowered items and dynamics, that is their choice. I believe good TTRPG gives you the immersive experience that you allow. My critiques however I mainly two topics forced battle and social dynamics. With an AI system that is able to create so much so fast. I feel like there is a missed opportunity in the dynamics of your social interactions. I actually get a little annoyed when my teammates agree with whatever plan I come up with and many times give me justification for my own plan. I believe a little more opposition would add a huge amount of depth to the immersion experience. If each character has a goal in life(even a simple one), they should be able to voice a disagreement when their ideals come in conflict with your own. That doesn’t mean I can’t convince them but if everything always goes my way, it takes a lot of the fun out and does not feel very dynamic. The next issue is that battle feels forced. There are many times in my campaigns were battles fit the storyline and narrative. However, there are a lot of battle that pop-up literally out of nowhere that do not align with the story or the current situation. It is as though there is a timer between battles that regardless of where you are or what you are doing, the system says another one has to happen. I was in the middle of a conversation with a teammate that was getting married when a moth creature pops up out of nowhere in the middle of our dwelling. I was so annoyed with the randomness of it that instead of fighting it I wrote it out of the script. having to do that completely kicks me out of the immersion of the story. It’s OK to have periods of downtime where there is no battle but instead a mission involving diplomacy or a heist to steal something without being noticed. Scenarios like that helped develop the story but interrupting with random monster fights destroys the flow. I gave this a four star rating only because there’s no option between a four and a five. I really do enjoy the system and will continue playing it, but I do believe those two critiques if addressed would improve the experience immensely. thank you for taking the time to read this and good luck on your next adventure.

Attention developers

Hi this isn’t a review yet but is there romance in this game?

Not worth it, yet.

This is a really cool concept, but it’s not currently worth the time or money. The AI forces you to burn tokens just get to the next part. It’s like it gets stuck and you have to keep promoting it to move forward, burning tokens each time.
Burning tokens wouldn’t be so bad if you started with more than 20 and if they refreshed without having to “claim” free ones every 4 hours.
Could be fun, but not really worth it.

Love this so much

I love how I can tame so much I got a few beetles I got two rubble spiderling a satchel warden and a zombie as my tames and I love it ten out of ten keep doing the good work
I would watch so many adds to play this

Lies to you and ignores you

Don’t waste your time. Even when you are patient and try work it out the AI just tells you what you want to hear and still runs the game the way it wants. What is the point in giving myself equipment if every time I do to use it it’s not actually there? It’ll just keep trying to bait you into spending another token.

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR

No complaints, except for o e thing: I wish you could have companions that would help throughout the journey. I mean, I know you technically can, but I wish they had their own champion logo, inventory and damage bar.

Super!!

J’adore ce jeux de rôle, ce qui est nul ses qu’on doit payer pour des aventure et ses vraiment dommage

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good!

While the game itself is very well made (and will be enjoyed by many), it became a little too frustrating for me to continue to enjoy it. I wanted to play it like an open-world Final Fantasy-type game, but it’s not really designed that way. It repeatedly forgot a number of settings that I requested it to follow, causing me to have to remind it constantly. It couldn’t keep up with how much money I carried, and the items and abilities were never just straightforward battle-related things like in FF. It’s decisively story-heavy D&D, not battle-focused FF, so if D&D is what you want, you’ll certainly like this game!
