It’s a good app but I have some concerns
I do like using this app even though I’m not a fan of AI. However, there are issues I can’t overlook at this point.
The Adventure options: The 8 different types of adventures is good for variety, but the quality is distinctly different. Fantasy is pretty good about giving a fresh adventure based on your character. Cyberpunk can be a little unimaginative at times. Sci Fi has a problem with making characters do things outside of their class’s expertise and some scenarios are unimmersive due to how many turns it takes to get past certain objectives. Horror is just plain bad and unfair character deaths are common. Apocalypse has issues with pacing and immersion due to the AI putting hazards up for no reason. Anime is great for unique stories based on your character and is heavily influenced by your decisions and abilities. Superhero is good but has problems with forcing dumb narratives that don’t make sense. Fairytale is really good for simple and childish stories that require minimal effort.
The AI: The AI is relatively okay but sometimes makes up stuff that isn’t actually there like taking damage from absolutely nothing. It changes characters genders and classes if not in the main party. Sometimes it will unnecessarily complicate the scenario by adding mechanics in that don’t make sense. It’s also really bad at romance and makes it feel predictable. It also has a problem with remembering past events in some stories.
Encounters: This is the worst part and luckily it can be turned off. Combat is just abysmal and unbalanced.
Overall, I can recommend the app. I just want a little more immersion and memory fixes.

Basically a choose you own adventure like game
I mean, come on. I have been playing as soon as I can since I downloaded it. It’s the best of dnd, choose your own adventure and seeing what AI can do with your imagination. I only wish I could watch videos for tokens instead of having to wait 4 hours for a refresh of 5 tokens to continue playing.
Good role play and character development, poor healing, no tokens after purchasing subscription
A good, fun game. Combats can become repetitive, but also can be narrated into non-combat encounters.
Biggest issue with play is with healing. You use a healing mechanic and the game reports successful healing, but the character do not regain any lost hp and the health bar does not recover either. Had 1 character die after three encounters with no hp recovery despite multiple narrated complete healings and “full health” statuses.
Bug report sent, took a few days, but healing improved for a couple weeks, I now ensure that all characters have multiple ways to heal themselves and each other.
GM ALWAYS attacks the weakest character (this is usually the PC, but not always). The only exception is if you narrate a new or upgrade to a previous skill, it will tailor make an enemy to have you “try out the new skill(s) and either invalidate or make largely ineffective other skills or characters.
New Issue: I payed for a subscription and got an immediate token boost (as expected) that was over 6 weeks ago and the monthly allotment has never been given to me. Support is still silent on the issue.

Finally a good use for AI
I don’t like praising AI, but this brings me back to old tabletop D&D or the old text FB games like Mob Wars. The best part is genuinely not knowing what’s coming next.
Character portrait not generated/blank
Would be a 5, but it’s a nitpicky thing that brings me out of immersion. My companions I can edit their portrait. Just not my main character. Let me know if there’s a fix and I’ll give 5 stars

Doesn’t work as expected
It takes your input and rewords it. There is no story expansion on your prompts it’s less useful that the environment killing chat gbt its based on. If you’re gonna nuke a rain forest, make it cool.
Surprising
Adaptability and ingenuity or hallmarks of AI DM‘s but so is forgetfulness and excessive randomness. So far I am pleasantly surprised at the resourcefulness and inventiveness inability to maintain a coherent story arc.

Bad initiative taking by party members waisted turns and not nearly enough to see if I wanna spend money on this not worth the risk with what Iv seen but has potential
Not really fun
Every time I try to do any thing there’s a fight. Like it’s every third turn I have and it’s hard to play the game like that. And to add on it’s kinda feels like they’re just baiting us to us more tokens. Idk just cut back on how many fights there are.

You should make it so tokens can stack up the more hours. You miss on the game.
Super fun! Some issues…
Had a lot of fun playing all the different genres (except horror - too scary!). Really enjoyed character and story development. I loved being able to design my own avatar. Issues: 1. Sometimes you meet quest goals but they don’t give you the rewards. 2. As soon as objectives are met the story ends but I’m not always done playing the story. I would prefer to choose when to start the next story arc begins so I can meet my personal objectives. There are probably more issues but these are the two that bothered me the most

Bruh the ai just cheats, lol
Seriously. The ai somehow always manages to ambush me and get the first hit “while you hesitate” or “before you have time to react” yeah oaky pal. And then somehow some enemies are just immune to any spell, throw them, they dissipate and it does nothing, then counter. So if they’re so not physical, how can they hit? And how come spells to undo their binding just “they laugh”. Bruh this is a joke, the enemy just wails on you and whatever you do “they just laugh and it does nothing, you take more damage they take none”.

Excellent
Love this it’s so much fun not only writing a story but living it. I collect all my coins while thinking up my next steps so it’s ok cause I’m planning things out. Need more coins or getting them a little more frequently because it’s hard to put down a good book you’re not only reading but writing at the same time. Thanks for doing such a great job.
