Everything Literally Costs Money

It’s super ridiculous that just completing the movie costs $1.91. I saw what the developer said to the other dude, but this is still ridiculous. The ai doesn’t even get the character models right

Don’t waste money

You have to pay anywhere between $50-$100 for the year to even get access to this app. Once you’re inside the videos generated or not realistic to logic. And it requires credits to make everything. So you pay to get access and then you pay even more to actually create something. I feel like if you’re charging people to use the app, they should get unlimited access to it. You should make a credit system for those who do not want to pay for a subscription, because that would be better. But I don’t think anyone should waste their money on this app. It is not worth the money. You also can’t delete old work from the storyboard.

Paid for subscription but still have to pay for credits???

I’ve paid for the subscription thinking that the credits would regenerate after so much time like a week or month. I walked away from it for a few months and came back with 0 credits!! What the hell am I paying for the subscription?? There’s plenty of video maker apps out there with that set up. What a ripoff!!! Minus -5 stars!!!

Not as advertised

The ad showed professional movie Quality AI. Download the app and you can’t even preview anything unless you purchase. I subscribed for the year only to learn that the AI is nothing like the advertisement in relatively poor quality. The story and script features are way behind majority of the other AI apps that I use. Had my hopes up this was going to be a great app, but was terribly disappointed!

Bad advertising

The ad I saw that led me to this kept advertising it as free, there is absolutely nothing free about it. And like others have said you have to pay to generate the clip, but then if you don’t like it you have to pay AGAIN to fix it. Greed runs all I guess…

Scriptly does start you with FREE 15 credits, enough to create character sheets and storyboard grids, and even that costs us real money to serve. One free video would mean almost $10 in raw compute for every single user. At that cost, giving it away wouldn't make us generous, it would make us gone in a month. We'd rather charge honestly for the expensive part, stay alive, and bring this to millions of people instead of a few dozen. That's why not everything in the app is free. Cut above the rest

Light years ahead of Sora 2 I am glad Sora is gone or I would of been stuck there in the mix but your app dawned after months of searching for a similar app but you hit the mark Sora 2. Missed above and beyond it thank you

It needs to be better

The fact that everything requires credits is ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind the credit system if was for the end of the scene process, but the app has you spending a lot of credits to create a storyboard, then to generate the scenes, then if you don’t like how it looks you have to spend more credits to regenerate the scene til its to your liking. Also when you run out of credits, trust me with how everything is set up you’ll spend all your credits super quickly, they give an option to buy more credits which again is ridiculous. What’s the point of a subscription if the credits do not regenerate reasonably. I believe you gain back credits every month which should be every week or every day based on the speed of credit consumption.

Hi, thanks for the honest feedback. you're right, and we want to explain why it works this way today. Every scene you generate costs us around $3 in raw AI compute. That's what we pay the model providers per scene, before storyboards and regenerations. Right now the credit system isn't there to squeeze you, it's the only thing keeping the app alive, and honestly we're still losing money on heavy projects. Like many, I was scammed

You pay for the subscription, then you have to pay for coins to try to fix what this horrible app screws up over and over. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

They tell you to subscribe to get more features, but they end up charging you a gross amount of money only to create a view scenes. Do not waste your money.

I initially paid for this app so that I can create little short videos for my kids I’ve uploaded their pictures and created their character but every time I write a script depicts them as grown adults which is very annoying I tried several times and it just kept doing the same thing I reached out to customer service haven’t heard anything

I don’t look anything like the photos of myself I uploaded

I uploaded several pictures of myself, but when I created storyboards, my face came out very distorted didn’t look like me at all

Character likeness

I have uploaded multiple photos, and the characters look nothing like the images I’m uploading. Certainly not what you would expect with AI. I wish I had saved my money. Other than that the video was good.

Pro Subscription Scam

You pay 50 for a year long subscription that allows you to make two videos then you have to buy hundreds of coins to do anything else. Total rip off do not subscribe.

Absolute garbage

Under no circumstance is this an app that does what it says it’s going to do. I bought the subscription and I instantly regretted it. No matter how descriptive you are in your movie plot it will write something completely off. The problem is is that you have to pay for it to create not only the characters, but the storyboard and the film. So when it screws up there, there’s no takebacks there’s no redo. And let me tell you it’s screws up every single time. Absolutely under no circumstance should you use this app? It is a cash grab, and it will frustrate you to the end of the earth! If I could get a refund, I would if I could sue this company I will.
