Intercom OK, App Weak
Our building just had this system installed and so far it’s been fine - it’s not bleeding edge technology but at least it feels like we’re finally in the 21st century. The app is a real weak point though, since it only provides the most basic functions of the home unit. Camera/mic feed stutters, and if connection is lost there is no way to reconnect from the app as there is using the Monitor function from the home unit. Also there’s no option to set the app to “do not disturb” so you have to dig in your phone settings for that. In short, the app needs a lot of improvement just to meet early 2000’s tech.

Only works half the time
Whether home or away only works half the time. Sometimes find myself sprinting upstairs to get the door since the app fails. Just fails to connect and no video display no option to just unlock when it fails. So unreliable so frustrating.
App doesn’t work with New iOS update
Aiphone- please explore the new iOS update 26.0.1. As soon as I updated to this version, the aiphone app stopped working- I rarely get calls to my phone when someone buzzes in, and when I do, it doesn’t allow me to open up the aiphone app from the call screen. Please help!!!
Horrible and Unreliable
The app is very buggy and unreliable a lot of times when the intercom is ringing. I can’t open the door through the app because it says “network failed”, even though my wifi is fine. This happens a lot, and sometimes the camera doesn’t even display on the app or sometimes the intercom is ringing, but nothing is showing up on the app. Please fix this.

this is the worst door app ever, doesn’t let you open remotely and is impossible to pick up - leads to missed packages all the time
Works 25% of the time
This app is fine when it works, but that’s usually only 25% of the time. In other cases you never get a picture when you answer and after a bit you get a connection error message. These problems occur when I’m at home with very fast wifi and when I’m out on a four or five bar cellular connection. I wish they would fix it! I was going to test and then recommend to my neighbors, but instead I had to warn them to save their money upgrading the intercom station to work with this.

Poorly designed and unstable
The app is very unstable and doesn’t always work. The user interface is very poor. You have to push several buttons in order to let someone in. As someone who has trouble answering a traditional buzzer I was hoping this would be an upgrade and unfortunately, it is not.
I want to love this but I can’t. Please fix the app! It’s slow!
I upgraded from the GT-3 to this newer unit with app support. Even with a dedicated 2.4ghz access point near by the app function is slow to react, slow to open recorded videos, slow to unlock the door and slow to disconnect and connect. Please fix this and it will be a great upgrade for our whole building.

Difficultés à prendre les appels
L’application fait ce qu’on lui demande, mais l’accès à l’interface permettant de communiquer avec l’interlocuteur demande trop d’étapes et on peut assez fréquemment rater des appels.
Lorsque l’interlocuteur appelle depuis la platine de rue et que le téléphone est verrouillé, il faut commencer par déverrouiller son téléphone, puis appuyer sur l’icône AiPhone, que l’application AiPhone s’ouvre et enfin il est possible de voir son interlocuteur, puis de répondre à son appel. Chacune de ces étapes prend du temps et l’appel se terminer parfois avant, laissant l’interlocuteur croire qu’il n’y a personne pour répondre. Il n’est pas non plys possible de rappeler la platine de rue pour rétablir la communication.

I want to love this but I can’t. Please fix the app! It’s slow!

Broken currently
Impossible to accept the terms and conditions when English is selected. It works if you select French so Bonjour!
Basic and outdated app
You can link this with your tenant station but having paid €890 for the privilege I am underwhelmed with this app. It feels like a high school project.that AIPHONE started and then forgot about.
You can open the door if someone rings, but not much else.
Support for AppleWatch would be great.
Support for HomeKit and shortcut automation is also on my wish list.
Linking to the Tenant station is a bit convoluted and you have to do it for all members of the household. It would be easier if the setup “token” could be shared.

App can not proceed
I just got a new phone and after downloading the app, I can not proceed after clicking choosing language. The next button in the End User Agreement is not working, no way to proceed further.
Doesn’t work on latest iOS
Impossible to accept and click “Next” on their 5,000 page EULA page.
Nothing works. Scrolling all the way to bottom, waiting, nothing. No apparent check box or other confirmation area. Just a big NEXT button that doesn’t let you tap it in any fashion.

Works half the time
Very often get connection error, the camera doesn’t start, swiping fails to open the door. Sometimes coming into the app pushes several view controllers. the callkit integration makes it tricky to quickly get to the answer screen. no way to access the door or camera without answering a call. really wish the api was published and could just make my own

Customer service
This app was working but then lost connection and had to delete and reinstall, now having trouble re-registering as it will not let me agree to agreement so unable to move forward. Would love a custom service number to work through this problem.
randomly works
get a call and have to scramble to get to the call screen because of the calllkit implementation takes 3 taps. then often the video feed rarely works and the swipe to open rarely works. pretty standard network setup here. just 1 router. everything else works great on my network except this app
Buggy app
Very buggy with limited control. You must answer very quickly within 5 seconds or you loose opportunity to open door.
