What's New in AircraftPower

4.5

September 17, 2025

In response to requests from two users, I've added the Lycoming O-540-F and IO-580-B1A engines. While doing this, I discovered and fixed a minor bug with the Info screen's "Make It So" button. I also made a small change — if one exits the engine selector using the "Cancel" button, the selector will be reset to the current engine.

Fantastic

Great work James. Thanks for the IO550 additions!

C177RG

Have used this app for 3 mths. Has been shown to match very closely the manufacturers performance chart expectations. Engine is always more reliably in its comfort zone by using the app than without. Would recommend it to at least try it.
C177RG flyer.

Awesome

This is perfect, great job excellent UI. I’d pay for it.

Works Great

I use it on most flights out of the traffic pattern. If he included IAS, I would also get TAS without need of the second app.

About time!

Great app, it’s about time we had something like available for those of us with older EMS systems.
One question:
Add a custom feature for engines that develop more power as a result of porting, and/or non-standard pistons?

Thank you!
