Screen only dims. It is still too bright to disturb sleep if you prefer sleeping in the dark.

I can’t say enough about buying a US product with US support. I love my Switcheon. I can turn my airplane engine heater and cabin heater on or off from my bed instead of heading to the hangar 15 minutes away. If I’ve turned it on overnight and decide cancel the flight the next morning, I just turn it off from home. Or decide I’m going flying later, I turn it on wherever I’m at.

Works great. Simple to use.
I don’t know what else to say. It works. It is easy to use. The annual fee is reasonable. I press a button at home and my engine warmer runs. Better yet I set the timer in the app to run 8 hours before I get to the airport and it is ready to go.
Support is excellent. The plug in mine melted because of a faulty GFI outlet, not their fault. I sent it in for repair expecting to get charged. They sent me a new one at no charge instead. They said they could have fixed the old one but it smelt of smoke and didn’t want me to have to deal with that.

Great hardware, software, and Awesome customer service!
I’ve had the unit for about a year now and it’s been flawless. The app is easy to use, no bugs, no frills. I had a problem with the unit that was my fault. I shipped and got it back within a week, no questions asked!! Love it.
