English

An English version would be nice

Requires tracking your location

There is no reason this app should need your location besides selling data

Basic but works

Replaced a previous app for diesel heater - it works but the writing is far too small and functions very limited

Cannot connect

Cannot connect, waste of time with this app

Crazy phone access

A heater app wants access to your photo library, voice recording, location and camera access.
Why would a heater app need access on your phone for any of that? Delete this garbage

Svp revenir à l’ancienne version

Je viens de télécharger la nouvelle version et plus rien ne fonctionne,

App works as described

I think a good addition to the app would be to allow for multiple scheduled times to turn on the heater and turn it off after a set time. Right now there is only one option.

Add more on/off timers

It would be very helpful if you could add more on/off timers. Maybe 8 total. That way you could cycle the heater on and off throughout the day and night. You wouldn’t have to run it continuously. Thank you.

This is fantastic

You can do a lot of control through this app and track. It functionality a very clean layout easy to navigating use

App steals pictures and tracks you

If anyone at Apple sees this the app claims it doesn’t collect data but the app requires location services to be on along with access to camera/microphone and access to your photo library. I have found 2 pictures from my photo library on a Chinese website.

Unable to connect without cell service

When I am in an area with no cell service this app will not connect to the heater which happens quite often for me. Totally useless. Bluetooth should be local, no reason it should require cell service.

Requires location sharing

Requires location sharing, so if you’re off grid, it won’t work at all.

Vevor diesel heater

It works well for what’s it’s intended to do outside of the fact that the regulation of fan speed isn’t great. What I mean by that is that let’s say you set it to thermostat mode and set the temp to 60 F. If it’s 40 F when the unit turns on it will automatically set the fan/blower speed to raise the temp but the closer it gets to your set temp the lower the blower speed goes so it never reaches the set temp. Right now I have it set at 60 F and it’s currently 40 F. The unit has been on for hours and the temp did climb but the blower speed is at “3” and that’s not enough to break past the temp difference barrier. So in conclusion like I said it works pretty well but it slows down the blower too much so it can’t reach the set temp. They have to update the apps logic for this.

Used to be alright until latest update

Latest update requires internet / cell service to function. If no cell service, you get an error about location not authorized. Basically makes this app useless when using camping in the mountains.

Lame data mining

This app seems to be data mining. It won’t work without location enabled and if you try to use the heater up camping and you have no cell service it won’t work because the data is trying to go through LTE for some reason.

Works 10% of the time

If you manage to get connected, don’t close the app when trying to use the heater. Otherwise you will likely not be able to reconnect and make adjustments via the app.

Don’t download if you value your privacy

I rarely read the user agreements for things, but I looked at this one. It’s in mandarin! And part of it is cut off, so you can’t view the whole thing. How is that legal? Anyway, I translated the part that was available. There’s a line in there that says, and I paraphrase, “You don’t have to accept our cookies, but the app won’t work without them.” It goes on to describe what those cookies do, which includes collecting and selling your data.

Will only work 2/10 times I try

Tells me location is not authorized when I go to start my heater . I have to install the app fresh every morning to get it to work and now even that’s not working sometimes . VERY frustrating bc I have my location services on for the app and I’ve been traveling all over so now way all of Idaho and NV are un approved locations . Seems like a bug hopefully they can fix it soon

2.0.2 BROKEN

Since the update, on iPhone15, permission demands access to Camera and photo album, before use. There are zero controls in settings to configure. So have now lost timer and remote control functions.

Another data mining app

Not thrilled. As soon as my profile was made and I had to accept location access just to use my heater the spam calls started flowing like an untamed wildfire. DO NOT use this app. While functions work as far as starting and stopping the unit that is where the convenience ends. No access to altitude settings, no access to prime function, no access to a timer function. It is as worthless as an umbrella in a hurricane.
