AirLogBook

AirLogBook is a simple aircraft spotting log for people who photograph planes and want to keep a clear record of what they saw. Take or choose a photo, let the app scan for the aircraft registration, then save the sighting with the date, location, notes, and aircraft details. You can also import many older plane photos from your library at once. AirLogBook reads the photo's original date and saved location where available, matches nearby airports, and stores each sighting in your log. If the registration is visible, AirLogBook uses on-device OCR to find it and can look up aircraft details from ADSBdb. If the registration cannot be read, the app still saves the photo as REG UNKNOWN so you do not lose the sighting.
