Needs more codec support

I may have been unlucky, but the very first thing I tried to watch was unsupported. When trying with VLC or my TVs media player, it worked. Maybe .MKV is not supported in general with this app?

I tried a few other files and they worked okay, and the app itself is nice enough to use. But until it can play anything I can throw at it, I’ll stick with the alternatives.

A waste of time

No documentation on configuration of LooksGood ports and couldn’t access videos on NAS on LAN.

Nothing in this app. It doesn’t show any movies or videos, clips on my nas.

Não reproduz arquivos MKV

A tela de login poderia ser melhor, principalmente no Box da Apple TV. Mas o que me deixou mais frustrado foi ele não aceitar MKV para reprodução. Espero que melhorem isso. Outra coisa que eles podiam fazer era solicitar a complementação das tags dos arquivos de filmes.

Hello, please allows us to reply in English. MKV is file format, and it could contain various video or audio codecs. It depends on the playback capability of the media player on the Apple TV. New media player for Apple TV is testing now, it will be available soon on the App Store. For the meta data of the movies, please edit it on the LooksGood. iPad mini 6 resolution

Hi, any chance you can fix resolution issues for iPad mini 6? I have huge black lines on both sides when watching videos horizontally

Впечатление

Для специализированного приложения функциональность поразительно убогая. Помимо того, что воспроизведение прерывается без объяснения причины, невозможно ни продолжить с того же места, ни прокрутить ползунок к нужному времени. Даже в соцсетях плееры приятнее.

not ready for prime time

Barely worked on TVos 17.2. Under 17.3 just quits with almost any operation you attempt

Crash application TV OS 17.2

Hello, the application is unusable on Apple TV 4K under TVOS 17.2. When I connect to my server via the application and once connected, as soon as I change tabs on your application, the application is therefore impossible to go to my personal files.

Hello, Sorry for the inconvenience by the issue. The issue is related to the permission mechanism updated on tvOS 17.2. AiVideos 1.0.3 fixed the issue and it's available on App Store now. No connection

No connection. I should have both Software actually. But i have: Looksgood and AiVideo is the last Version. No Autodetection of my Asustor Nimbus. AiMusic is working on my Phone!

Hello, iOS16 improve the security for the HTTPS certificate, and the certificate on AiVideos is not compatible with iOS16 defined. Needs an update for iOS 16

The app no longer works when you login into your Nas with the right credentials. Keeps asking to update the app and Looksgood when they are already at their latest version. Hope Asustor fixes this soon.

Crashes when you select a folder

Doesn’t work on iPad anymore. When you click the folder that contains the video file it just closes.

App on AppleTv in foreign language

The app works great on my iPhone However, on the app my AppleTv, it’s in a another language (I believe German). The default language on the AppleTv is English (US) and there’s nothing in the app itself that allows me to change it to English

Hello, Thanks for feedback the issue, and we had reproduced the issue on Apple TV 4K (4gen). Apple TV HD have no problem to display English. App's display language will align to iOS or tvOS settings of the devices, there is no option in the App. We will check the issue and resolve it ASAP. Stuck in German, No Option/Setting to Change

Not sure why, but was following Asustor’s instructions on how to setup this app so I could stream media to my AppleTV. Got it installed and immediately it comes up all in German. Nothing else in my setup is in any language but English. I laboriously used Google translate to navigate and set up the server which seems to work, but I was hoping after I got it set up it would have some sort of advanced settings menu somewhere to change. I get logged into my NAS and find “Settings,” but it’s just for the server connection. This app is crude and overall doesn’t seem to do anything any more advanced and better NAS interface app could do; and at least those don’t spontaneously change language for no good reason and have no way to change back.

And please help to email stanleyhsu@asustor.com to provide screenshot and more detail information about the problems you met. The language of the App should be aligned to the mobile phone settings. I cannot clear understand the issues you mentioned here. Sorry for the inconvenience.

App hängt sich dauernd auf. Das Handling ist nicht zeitgemäß. Eigentlich hätte diese App nicht einmal diesen Stern verdient.

Pretty useless app

I finally get the settings on my AS5202T set and can access the videos on my NAS and Asustor updates this app and makes it so I can no longer use it, because my iPad isn't compatible with iOS 13.
