Adjusting to e-edition
After a couple weeks, I have begun to look forward to reading my morning paper on my iPad. I enjoy the clarity of print, being able to enlarge certain articles for easier viewing. I also appreciate having access to the ABJ while on vacation or at our remote lake house. Only downside is the sudoku, crossword and wonder word have changed authors. Miss doing those daily challenges

Parade magazine and Monday edition
Good morning,
I’ve read the paper for years every morning. It was always a way to relax. I looked forward to turning the pages and cutting out recipes or interesting articles. I now have to wonder if I hit the wrong button, or have trouble seeing and being able to read the ENTIRE page at once.
For those of us with aging eyes, reading the paper on line is difficult . In fact, it’s frustrating. On top of that, the price increase is getting to be so expensive, that a decision has to be made. Do we want to pay for something we no longer enjoy.
Another issue, is that I wonder if putting things in alphabetical order is a thing of the past. I even know that a press of a button can solve that.
It’s sad to see how lax the world is becoming and a simple thing like reading the newspaper is no longer enjoyable. What’s even sadder, is this e mail will not change anything. I look at it as I was given the opportunity to answer your question, and NO I’m not satisfied in the way the newspaper is going.
I also hope, that no one lost their job, including delivery people, putting Monday’s edition on line.
Thank you for your time,
A Stevenor

E-version or Paper
I didn’t think I would like reading the Akron Beacon Journal online. It is easier, it’s with me everywhere I go, and no dirty hands! I still like reading the hard copy paper sometimes on weekends, but it’s nice to have options reading it.
I love reading ABJ
App is easily accessed and works smoothly. I still like reading a hard copy newspaper as the name implies: it is NEWS on PAPER! But I also understand the costs of printing and delivering. But there is a nostalgia about the printed word on paper, much the same as a book. BTW, I never read a book electronically!

ABJ
This is so easy to manage and read online. I am not missing having a missed delivery or loose paper around the house collecting. I can easily look back at previous issues too. It is on all my devices for use.
