the worst news app ever?
When you get an alert and tap it somehow you get to a random news article that was not included in the alert then you have to search for the alert news. The app is absolutely filled with garbage ads, and you have to scroll past these to get to news. This morning I got an alert to review it after I actually got to the news, so I did the app asked if I wanted to use gmail or Apple or something else and I used Gmail to send my review. Low and behold I get a notice from Gmail saying it’s undeliverable that Tegna doesn’t accept emails.

What have you done?!?
This used to be my instant go-to app for news on anything local. You had breaking stories right away. All the info I would need. Now I open the app and almost everything is from days ago. Which makes you totally useless to me now.

We switched to kyc because of Mark Johnson We are loving the news team.
Nice app, but…
I like having access to Cleveland news, especially when I’m traveling. However, the stories aren’t dated and sometimes are several days old. I don’t mind the older stories. However, I’d like to see the date when they were posted prominently displayed.
Bring back the old app
Hate the new WKYC app. So much of what was there is gone. No ability to look at news by area. The Indians section used to show the schedule, the standings, the current major league scoreboard - now there’s none if that.
WKYC’s app now looks like the generic NBC apps across the country - lousy.
