Of all the apps I use this is the worst by far. Perhaps you should send you IT team to the offices of the WSJ and have them pick up some tips on how the app should work.

New newspaper app
Your new app is not user friendly. It takes too long to get to the print page, when you try to scroll down to the bottom of the page it opens an article, when I try to print a crossword puzzle the print is too small. Pop up ads?? I liked the old app much better. I could read newspapers from all over the country, not now. Two thumbs down. I tried 10 nicknames but all were taken. How much time should I spend on that ?? Alan

Thank you for finally updating the app.
The app is still a pain. When you try to change pages or resize a page to read it sometimes does it and sometimes it just does random things.

Newspaper electronic edition
I enjoy the e edition very much. I miss not holding the paper in my hands but I don’t live in Akron to receive one!
Bring back the old app
I understand that you need advertising, but keep it in the paper copy.
The new app is so busy trying to get in extra ads that it has all kinds of bugs. I thought that an e-edition was to transmit a copy of the print edition. The old app did that and only that.

Your app is not user friendly. There is no clear link to managing subscriptions.

Untimely Delivery
Have used the digital newspaper for years and has continually improved. Lately the delivery has not happened in the morning (6 am). Sometimes they were days behind. Improvements are irrelevant if delivery cannot be accomplished. I have cancelled my subscription until resolved.
Beacon Journal Goodv and Bad
Reading this paper is a challenge. It’s writings are clear, informative, pretty correct and good coverage. My one criticism is that they are leftist Democratic in nature and one sided. I sometimes cannot believe the editorials that lack truthfulness.

I really like the convenience of the online newspaper. If I miss a day I can go back and read it. I like the bonus edition and I can read other towns newspaper.
Local & World News
I enjoy the local stories around Akron & Cleveland. I appreciate the nationwide network with USA Today newspapers so I can read local papers in Hudson, Erie, & other cities of interest. Of course world coverage is good to have too. I find it to be a good middle of the road media, on the political spectrum.

Overseas
I have been in Europe twice over the last three months, and was very disappointed to learn that I am not able to access the Akron Beacon Journal app from European countries. I was able to access every other app on my iPad, but not this one.
