So helpful.

This app has been so helpful for me to navigate the conference and all of its sessions. Wish it had a floor plan of the exhibit area.

Great but glitchy at times

I love the app, but it freezes and is sometimes hard to make it function the way it should.
Especially when in the vendor section, and it constantly wants to send you to the next day in the schedule side.

Clunky App

Why do I have to login in over and over all day. Let me sign up and be signed in all the time. So frustrating. And it goes through all the info screens each time and is so slow!

Not great

This app crashes frequently. I use the take notes feature for my sessions and now my notes are all gone. I like the favorites and schedule on my phone, but not terribly dependable.

Unable to access slides

Either none of the presenters are providing slides or they are not uploaded in the app. It’s difficult to attend everything of interest, so having access to slides allows more flexibility. I can get the information even if I can’t get to the session. If slides are available the links provided in the app are not working?

Slow

Slow to respond, and sometimes not correctly. I hate the logout times. If it could stay logged in longer it would be helpful.

LibLearnX - a fantastic experience

I love this app! It’s so easy to maneuver and use — of course, librarians and ALA developed this for the LibLearnX participants. Thank you!

Why is this so difficult to access

Constantly have to re enter information logs out and go through multiple screens to access schedule

Meh

I use it because I can enter my schedule on a computer, and have access on my phone. Every time I open it, it acts like it is the very first time I ever opened it, even if it has been only 10 minutes since I last used it. Lately, the day feature of the Scheduler has flickered and acted wonky. It is better than nothing, but not great.

Makes you constantly log-in

You have to log-in every time you open the app with your confirmation number. Who remembers that? Then confirm your profile, agree to terms & conditions, scroll through 3 pages of tips. EVERY TIME. So annoying.

Overall ok - bad for notes

List half the notes i took for a session with no way to retrieve.

Absolutely indispensable!

This app has made the conference so much more navigable! Changes are easy to make, and I can look at my personal schedule at a glance. Love it!

2020 crashes every time

I can’t even get past the accept screen before it crashes.

Update stinks

Update of 6/23/2020 has ruined any chance of connection to virtual conference

Crashes every time

App crashes every time when downloading event data. It’s useless

Can’t do anything

I can login but once the app starts to download the event data, it just closes. Very frustration.

Keeps shutting down

I like being able to access my schedule readily, but it keeps shutting down. Quite annoying! I doubt I’ll be able to use it efficiently for the virtual conference.

Better than lugging the physical book.

It was a wonderful tool to have in my pocket! There were only two times it did not load for me at the Annual Conference 2019. In those instances, I needed to shut down the app and reboot.
I am not sure how the messaging tool works though. I sent a few messages to people I wanted to network with, but I never saw where to access them once sent out. I also am not sure the recipients of those messages ever saw the messages.

Glitches

I really wanted to like this app. It would avoid the complete waste of paper that is the catalog. But, at some point Saturday, my entire schedule was wiped out. All gone. It happened around the tine all the “Meet the Authors” sessions appeared in the app. This was beyond frustrating, as I had to research through the schedule to try to find the sessions I wanted to attend. Fix these kinds of glitches and I’ll raise my score.

ALA App is pretty good

For selecting sessions and getting reminders for them. However, search is spotty—it didn’t return some vendors that are represented in the exhibits. Also, a map of the building showing your current location or at least providing guidance on which part of which building each session is in would be a valuable improvement.
