Not working
The app suddenly started having multiple issues. The Home Screen constantly says select favourites and while the 2 cameras and door lock are selected it will not display. I cannot go into settings or it closes the app. I can finally see cameras again under the cameras tab but this app has a ton of issues. Please roll back whatever you do a week ago

So Glitchy
Honestly, this app crashes or does not show all of the buttons more often than it actually works. It means that turning off the alarm when arriving home or setting the alarm when leaving is sometimes impossible to do.
Worked good until the last update
Last week I updated the app to their latest update. Now it crashes multiple times a day. I have deleted the app and re-added it at least 10 times and I’m still having the same problems. It was great until a week ago
Do not fall for scam
Do not get this service the app is terrible crashes all the time hardly functioning the people working at the company scam you into thinking there services are high end and compatible with all devices that work with google. They have also discontinued support for cameras using this app.
Absolute trash
Been a customer for almost 5 years and for some reason the app just gets worse over time. It’s definitely not user friendly and buggy as hell. It’s crazy work how an app can regress so much in such a short time.

Been a customer now for over 3 years and that app just gets worse every single year. The people working on it make it look like they actually don’t know anything about software development at all.
Absolutely useless app
This app so bad half the time it’s not working have to reboot takes forever. The “Canadian” costumer service is even worse!!! Please people do not get AlarmTek to take care of the safety of your house.
Very disappointment. Doorbell is an absolute wast of money.
The doorbell camera is useless. It’s too delayed to connect. Someone rings my doorbell and by the time the app opens and it connects, the person is already gone. If I happen to actually catch them, talking to them through the camera is so delayed that it doesn’t work. It’s also terrible at picking up movement even with the sensitivity on high. And when someone came and tried to vandalize my mailbox, the video kept cutting in and out. Useless.

The app requires password and defeats the purpose of security features being accessible .
Unable to access cameras in realtime
For over a year, I have been unable to access camera’s to see what is happening in realtime and many times I am signed out of the app and do t realise I am not getting notifications. I do t have the safe feeling I had initially.
App issues
For several weeks now I’ve had to put in my password to view my cameras. Several calls to Tech and it’s always “the engineering department is working on it “
Keeps logging out
What’s the point of a security app if you’re constantly being logged out? Absolutely garbage.

Keeps logging out and therefore doesn’t work and complete waste. The whole reason I have a security camera is so I get a notification when someone is on my property, everyday it logs me out so I don’t get notifications. What’s the point of having this if you don’t get motion notifications? Answer-there is no point, get a different system.

Yet another period of time without a safety net, been without a camera in our garage for almost 3 months.
Tried to please service guy by proving a picture and model number for cord to save a service call, which my wife was told “ will cause you over $200.00” even with a 5yr service.
My wife tried to call owner Jeff to no avail…
Folks pick any other service provide other than AlarmTek, you will thank me for it…
Ps we don’t have a 24hr emergency contact,
Tried a test just recently and no one responded…
Only iron clad year to go, with this…

Terrible app
Worse app out there. Video constantly lags or completely shuts off. Can’t open doorbell feed when someone rings doorbell. Should’ve went with Telus
