As others have said cancelling is a nightmare, they take money out without notifying. Really really poor service.
Buggy
Although this app looks pretty decent, it is extremely buggy. Screens become unresponsive and you have to quit out of it often. I would hate to pay money for this. Where is the support to fix this? Would not recommend,

I tried to find how to cancel the subscription (it wasn’t in the usual place where app payments are, they sneakily do it through their own site, which is dodgy as hell) & then ended up getting charged. Very annoying (& we barely used the app, don’t think my kid learnt a thing) I’m someone who watches every pound spent & I feel robbed

Good so far but keeps crashing!
My daughter is enjoying the game so far but we only started using it today and it’s frozen 4 times in less than 2 hours and she’s lost her progress. We have a new iPad Pro so it must be the app itself. Disappointing!
Be careful with free trial!!!!
I downloaded this app for the free trial and we were not using it, when I tried to cancel the app they offered me an extended free trial which we still didn’t use. Unfortunately I was caught out with no reminder the trial was over and as I wasn’t using the app I had forgot all about it. By the time I noticed the advisor told me I had paid over £200 for the app and it was my own fault for not cancelling the app-which I initially tried to do! Very disappointed in the customer service and trickery in what could be a great app for children’s learning.

Scam! Don’t go for the free trial
I have been charged £15.99 3 times in the last 2 months. Never downloaded or used this app! It’s not even registered as a payment plan or subscription on my Apple App Store. This is such a scam payment system.

I didn’t sign up for membership. I Tried cancelling the membership- They say my email address is not the one on the account & so they won’t cancel it. They have been taking money from me for months & refuse to cancel the acct!! in total they have stolen £108 from me so far.

I am outraged that I kept receiving the charges from this company for months after having tried their app during the free trial. I accidentally learnt of the charges by the credit company while at the same time I was receiving the promotional messages from Albert to return to the app with 50%off offers - what’s the problem with you guys? Inactive subscription means you do NOT charge your customers who tried the app and didn’t like it.
Don’t take payment from people NOT consenting and agreeing to use of your product - there’s a reason behind why I didn’t choose to use and there’s no way any logical explanation why you take payments for that. You wouldn’t use someone else credit card you found lying on the road - don’t do that with your customers whose details you know, it’s called scam and fraud and you should be better than that if you provide educational products!

I downloaded this app and my children didn’t like it. I then cancelled subscription and deleted off my devices but I’m still being charged every month. I can’t find a way to cancel it again so am just being ripped off. DONT DOWNLOAD IT

It lures you into a trial without giving any renewal reminders before the expiry date, hoping you’ll forget to cancel. They charge you without offering a refund.
Kids terrified of making mistakes in ‘battles’
Good maths games, less good ‘English’ games. Unfortunately, the ‘battles’ at the end of a lesson end with the child’s character being hit over the head with a boulder whenever they get an answer wrong. This is such a deterrent and makes kids afraid of making mistakes - which we all know is the best way to learn. My children exit as soon as they get a wrong answer to avoid the hit, and so never learn the right answer. What a shame! Great opportunity lost to celebrate mistakes and learn from them.

Please do not even subscribe for a free trial. Even when you cancel it they will still continue to take money of your bank. They won’t even let you know money is being taken or even send you an invoice. Apple always send me an invoice with any of my subscriptions even if it’s only £2.99. But this one you can’t even cancel it through apple so there’s no way you’ll notice that they are still getting money of you unless you check your bank. I think it’s disgusting how they are doing it.

Absolutely shocking, scammers.
Horrific app, no way of cancelling subscription through app, have to go through a whole website. Bunch of scammers and there’s absolutely not much to do on the app to make up the price. Don’t even bother. They just want your money. All negative reviews they’ve continuously had yet at unable to make adequate change for their customers or provide adequate customer service. All for money, companies like these never win.

Unable to cancel
I did a free trial, the app has never worked for me (just comes up with a blank grey screen). Went on my app subscriptions, nothing was on there so thought my payment details hadn’t been taken. Just noticed two months of charges. The app shows still a blank screen, so it won’t load for me to cancel. No idea how to cancel now?!

Complete rip off
I signed up for the free trial, then unlike every other subscription company you do not receive any follow up emails when the trial period is ending. My child had no interest in the app so never used it, the next time I even remembered I had it was when £15.49 was taken from my bank… which I initially thought wouldn’t be the end of the world if it was for the year - but then to find it is for ONE MONTH! The customer service is absolutely shocking, I received a down right rude email polished up with a few ‘friendly’/snide remarks. There is no excuse for for such poor and rude customer service, I would not support the company even if the app had been any good…. Which it’s not!

Cancelled free trial well within the time period yet still got charged for the subscription. Avoid.
Update: they claim that they cannot charge you if you’ve cancelled and that they send an email to you to confirm. I’ve now been through the cancellation process twice and neither time have received an email. I had to remove my bank card from Apple Pay and get a new one.

Poor customer service
I downloaded the app for a free trial over summer. I had an email saying there had been an issue with the payment so I assumed we were not subscribed and I heard nothing else from them. They then charged me at the end of August. I queried this immediately but the customer service department were not helpful and have refused to refund the money.
