Does job but crashes constantly

I got this because album shuffle is a key feature missing from the default music app, and album time dos the job… except for multiple crashes per hour

Good, but sometimes it plays in the same order

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! But I have a question. How random is the algorithm? It seems that the app plays almost the same albums in a similar order over and over.

Hi there! Thanks for using Album Time! To start a new randomized queue, please use the [🔀 Play] button at the top of the album grid. Alternatively, you can start a new randomized queue by tapping an album, and Album Time! will start from the tapped album and continue with the rest of the queue.

iPod functionality!

On iPods, we could shuffle by song OR BY ALBUM. For whatever reason, iPhones have never been able to do this in the stock app. This app lets you shuffle by album: it will pick a random album, play it in its track order, then pick another random album, and so on. Optionally, you can set it to skip to the next random album if you skip two tracks in a row (something iPods couldn’t do).

I only have a few small issues with this app. One is that it doesn’t always remember where you left off (my iPods do this even if powered off for weeks). The other is that scrolling through a huge library takes a while, as there is no alphabetical or other scroll bar on the side.
