WAS a good app & product…
This was a good app & product until they pulled support where there products no longer register with/ communicate back to their server, so there’s no longer any app based control or app based monitoringfor your ALC Connect Plus devices. Would have been nice for them to contact their customers before pulling the plug, maybe come up with a low monthly or annual based subscription fee to have continued instead of dropping it/us like hot potatoes.

No notification
This app working for 3-4 years but now no send more notifications and no support . I reset system and erase app and installed again and still the same problem still no notification . Checked on app setting and is activated on setting and in my app too including no send email notification
Less than average stability
I have 2 new ALC security systems with the 1080P pan/tilt camera. I have been attempting to pair my cameras to my system and the app has crashed repeatedly. Not sure who IOS requires you to switch between your home WI-FI and the camera “Wi-Fi” but that also has been a pain. Still unsuccessful even while watching the video in the installation guide mostly because the app continues to crash.

Not easy to add to other devices
I got a new phone and can’t get this app to work on it. The Forgot Password feature does NOT work at all, and it’s confusing because I can’t find the info for the app in my email either because of all the acronyms for this device. It’s under SCH, or ACL, or Connect Plus? I tried them all - not sure what to do now...

Camera no longer works after updating app.
Originally, all was good. However, camera no longer works since the updated app release. :(

I was excited to purchase this product at BJs. However please add more. Add an option for automatic arming, add more camera that can be compatible with this system. I’m starting to feel jipped. Customer service is good though.
It’s okay
So far the app and system are a bit janky. I wish I could set it to play a different sound when it is armed, or have it not make a sound. As it is, it makes a short, obnoxious alarm sound when it is armed/disarmed. Also, the camera always sets itself back to VGA quality after I set it to 720 or 1080. The app isn’t very responsive, I need to press the buttons several times or in some cases hold it in order for it to respond.
All that being said, the system does work and will sound off if someone trips it.

Accessory pairing
Motion detectors and sirens cannot be disarmed and are always live. The Disarm button only works for the door triggers.
