Cooks iPhone and drains battery

This app caused my iPhone to stay warm and even get almost too hot to handle a few times per day. My once every day or two charging turned into a two time per day event or I’d just leave it plugged in to the wall.

Took me a few weeks (about how long I had the app installed) to make the connection. I removed the app an hour ago and the phone cooled off in minutes and hasn’t gotten warm again.

I don’t even care that I can’t control my vents. I’m just happy I can handle my phone without an oven mitt again.

Still a prototype

I was actually really excited for this new vent and pre-ordered them. However, upon receiving a set of 3 along with the app, I almost immediately noticed that the product was still in prototype phase at best. The software is riddled with bugs, and the vents themselves eat up batteries every 2 days. I'm trying to be patient but it's slowly running out; especially after the rep told me the new firmware has been released which I installed but nothing happened.
