Possibly the worst app I’ve experienced
It takes many minutes of digging just to find where to move money from investments back to the main HSA account. Given that you can’t pay anything out of your HSA unless you have cash in the main account, shouldn’t that function be front and center when you open the app? Once you finally find the menu selection and initiate a transfer, I still haven’t found a way to find record of that transfer to check status, other than a message saying something about administrative activity when you go into the above mentioned menu selection. I could go on and on, as this is only one example of how unintuitive this app is…

Refusal to close
I tried to close my account 2 years back and kept getting excuses until finally I was told I could find the form to close it in the app so I downloaded it and haven’t been able to find any account services forms or a search bar and I keep getting charged a maintenance fee.
The most frustrating company
Every single time I try to access my funds it’s been a headache. The app and the website are always down. Contacting customer service is also useless because they read off a script with no real solutions yet at the same time give different answers every time I’ve called. A change to information on my account “maybe” takes up to three to seven business day for me to receive an email that can only be returned back via fax or mail. And even then they “hope” to update my information correctly while they charge me a monthly fee to have my account. If possible save your time and energy and do not work with the company.

Smart Choice Sucks!!!
I have NEVER had so much trouble with the ap and trying to move money from my investment accounts to a spending account. What a nightmare!!!

I do not like this company. Customer Service is outsourced. Zero notes on previous calls and they do not understand your issue
Do not use
They are good at taking your money but not good at letting you use it. Avoid at all cost. If your employer offers, form a union because your employer clearly hates you if they offer this product.

Every single time I have tried to log into this app it never lets me log in, I can’t reset my password at all either. Garbage app.
App is not great
Can’t view investments or change in investments readily. Terrible functionality.
Receipt tracking bad
Cannot upload two receipts to one expense. Also, no option to edit receipt after upload.
The ABSOLUTE Worst
They steal your money by not allowing you to access it. They are crooks

Taking my funds
Vimergy is a known high level vitamin and mineral company. You allow automatic withdrawals out of my account from untrusted sites but refuse to refund me for a $1000 legit claim. Give me my money!
Impossible to Log In
No matter how many times I change my password, the next time I go to log in, I am blocked. Have wasted countless trying to navigate this website and even more time trying to get phone support.

There is no way to communicate to those who keep making mistakes. No way of leaving feedback or request help
Buttons on buttons and glitches galore
This app could be a single page of simple information, but instead it’s a maze of independent menus that all have wildly different UIs. Some have the same information, but in different colors or fonts. Sometimes, my account balance is different on two different menus. One of the drop-downs to expand a submenu is on top of a link to a browser-based calculator, which opens on a three-second delay when I expand the (inaccessible) submenu. I don’t know what Alight is doing with the egregious $2.50 fee they rip out of my HSA every month, but they sure aren’t spending it on hiring a software team.
