Great magazine, but rubbish app
Unfortunately I’m going to have to cancel my subscription, not because I don’t like the magazine (I do), but because the app is terrible. Much of the time it won’t let me download issues, or it just deletes them when it feels like it. My biggest gripe is that as I own the issues I should be able to read them and make notes and highlights. But the app won’t let any kind of user interaction.
I emailed the customer support numerous times as to why I can’t have the magazine in pdf format so I can be free to read and make notes…..but they couldn’t be bothered to respond.
I’ve paid for the magazines, so I should be free to have them as I like, not locked into a user-unfriendly app that could disappear off the App Store at any time.

Terrible service
Cant access new additions. Paid my money and their email doesn't work. No way to contact. Don't buy!
Great, for what it is.
This is a wonderful magazine, detailed and informative. I am also glad that the app for the magazine is free. That having been said, it’s a great source of information on a subject that is limited in nature. AAS does a good job by not copying and pasting from the two other mainstream space journals.

I also subscribe to Astronomy.... and no comparison....this is soooo much better .. it really is. I will keep this and cancel Astronomy
Horrible app
App takes over 5 min just let me view my purchased magazines. Horrible navigation to find the mag I am looking for. Canceled my subscription.
Superb magazine and app
If your interested in the cosmos and the big picture of all that’s around us this is the app and magazine for you. It’s full of great articles and truly wonderful photographs.
Excellent App
I decided to download this app and subscribe to the magazine due to me being interested in things about the Universe and Space. The price of the magazines is ok compared to buying the print edition in the shops at double the price.
I love the magazine so much I've subscribed to the digital and print editions. I just wish with technology today that they could have some interactions on pages i.e. 3D Planets you can zoom and spin etc but hey there's apps that's dedicated to that. Keep up the great work on an awesome magazine

THE NEW APP IS DISASTER, IT IS GOOD FOR SOMEONE WHO COLLECTING POSTAGE STAMPS !!!
Beware lost purchases
Similar app by same developer updated in March 2017 and refused to download some of the magazines I had previously purchased no matter how many times I tried their instructions. Email to developer only responded to by auto response. Called to UK to talk to them and the developer offered zero help. Buyer beware.

The new version is not an improvement
Update: reducing to one star, since the new version with "improved experience" doesn't even save your reading position when exiting! You have to start over at the beginning and manually page to your position, if you can remember. INEXCUSABLE!
Thumbnails hopping up and down is not an improvement to the reading experience. It's just annoying.
The table of contents pages can't be tapped to take you to an article. Why not?
Double tapping article text zooms in ridiculously far, instead of fitting the text to the screen.
No text view of articles.
After all this time waiting for an update, you gave us nothing but a new landing screen.
The All About Space app at this point is not even as good as a PDF reader. It's just a collection of jpegs. Abandon this approach and switch to Adobe Digital Editions or properly reformat the magazine for the Ipad.
Stop saying you've improved the READING experience when you haven't.

I really recommend this magazine if you have a interest in space. It's easy to read and understand with very interesting articles and interviews in it.
